    Finally atlast got an update! been waiting for this for awhile..

    Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice within 14 days from December 5, 2011, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

    AOS Interview......nervous

    in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

    Hello,

    we have our AOS interview in a couple of days.

    even though our marriage is legit and we have nothing to hide, we are starting to get nervous.

    according to the guides, all we need to bring to the interview is supporting evidence of the relationship.

    could someone please confirm if that is ALL we need? or do we need to bring all financial support docs as well (e.g tax returns, bank statements, etc.) which were originally submitted in the AOS package?

    appreciate all your help.

    you dont need to bring what you have submitted. Yes right, just bring those proofs of your relationship.

    bradcanuck: Is the NOA date the date written on the noa or the date you received it? I ask because it doesn't make much sense given that they received your application on July 5th... I have a NOA date of July 24th and mine was received on the 16th. let me know, the mistake is easy.

    I just got my I-693A completed from CS doctor. but he made a mistake in my birth date. (in month).

    this might be a silly question, but do you think I will run into problems if I mail this in? I mean, all the other info (name etc) is correct. will they match all this info to our application? I wanted to send out this AOS as soon as possible. the thing is that doctor is on vacation this whole week. do you guys think it worth to wait and get it corrected(birth date?) any suggestions.

    I think so. You should had check your copy before leaving the CS clinic. I had same prob with u before that the CS made an error on my middle name but good thing i checked my I-693a copy before i left the clinic. It should be corrected though before you submit it. Goodluck!

    about alien registration nos. error

    Also, it may not be an error at all.

    I was in the United States on a F1 Visa and OPT. When I received my NOA1 (for AOS), the number was different from my earlier alien number. I called up USCIS, and they told me that a new alien number is assigned when you are applying for AOS. My new alien number was totally different from my earlier, the operator said that was fine, but also told me that they usually only change one digit (which could be your case).

    Of course, there is probably an error if your alien number on your biometric appointment is different from your NOA1, and if that is the case, I would bring both NOA1 and biometric notice to the appointment and point out the discrepancy.

    actually i didnt received NOA1 just biometrics notice already. Thats strange they'll change one digit number to A#,its suppose to be permanent. Anyway, i'll call this monday and correct it on my bio appointment. thank u guys!

    My wife and daughter had different Biometric Appointments. When you receive your appointment letter, I'd suggest you go together to the earliest scheduled date. That's what we did and both we're able to have their biometrics done on that appointment date.

    I agree. Both wife and daughter had appointments today, an hour apart. They went in together and came out half an hour later.

    im still being impatient with it. Im always waiting for the mail man here.LOL!

    My wife and daughter had different Biometric Appointments. When you receive your appointment letter, I'd suggest you go together to the earliest scheduled date. That's what we did and both we're able to have their biometrics done on that appointment date.

    ah ic! yeah thats might i wanna do in case i have a different biometrics sced. It would just be easier if the center location for biometrics is near but its not. Thank u so much for the repy! im still waiting for my biometrics notice though.

    I just got my daughter's biometrics notice today w/o my notice with her yet. We filed same date of course since she's my derivative. How come mine isnt come yet? I know it should be different notice but cant they send it together? does it possible we might have different biometrics sced? geezz! it would be risky then since the nearest homeland would be 2 hrs from here if we have different sced..anyway, we are on K1 and K2. any inputs guys?

    I'd give it a day or two...sometimes the biometrics letters do not arrive on the same day but a few days after. Good luck.

    I just got my daughter's biometrics notice today w/o my notice with her yet. We filed same date of course since she's my derivative. How come mine isnt come yet? I know it should be different notice but cant they send it together? does it possible we might have different biometrics sced? geezz! it would be risky then since the nearest homeland would be 2 hrs from here if we have different sced..anyway, we are on K1 and K2. any inputs guys?
