Hi,
My fiancee has been waiting over 2 weeks to get any correspondence from Moscow Embassy (packet 3 and all). do you whether this is typical ? also, do you know which postal agency they use to send the packet 3 papers ? (some say DHL , others say it i the russian postal agency). thanks,
sam

My fiancee is Russian and the approval notice has been forwarded to Moscow. i have a few questions
1) do you know which courier the US embassy uses to send the papers to my fiancee ?
2) Police Ceritificate - what should it say ? does it mention the whole of Russia or just the city where she lives ?
thanks,
sam

Oct 24 - NOA2 approved after almost 6 months at CSC!!!
Dec 03 - NVC received the approval!!!
this is too long !!!!!!!!!
Any updates from your end? Also, could you please fill in your timeline? When was your approval date?NVC still says they don't have mine. I am starting to get worried and aggravated!!
-
you are right. another 90 days after that very long wait for approval. this really sucks. people who comes under VSC are the lucky ones. after approvel from VSC, it takes only days for the approavl to reach NVC. it is simply outrageus for the heavy delay in sending the paperwork to NVC.
CSC is hopeless.
sam
She said to give it up to 90 days to get there. HELLO???? 90 freaking days to mail something? Are they serious?Hey Musicgirl, I was fed the same line when I called a few weeks ago, the lady was really rude about it too. As soon as I heard 90 days I just hung up on her. We are jerked around bad enough during this whole process I just can't bring myself to pleasantly accept a line of utter BS like that. I'm going to try and call again tomorrow maybe I'll have better luck. Hang in there we are all getting closer!
hi mike and beth im so frustrated!!! my fiance received approval notice last Oct.16 and till now the NVC didnt receive our petition my fiance called by the way and they said it took 90 days! hello we waited 5 mons to get our approval and now we have to wait another 90 days! thats realy sucks and frustrating!!! what we are going to do are we going to call CSC? I dnt know what to do anymore waiting it really makes me sick!!!!

i see that NVC gete this from VSC in a matter of days. this is so unfair. when i call NVC they say that they have no info. and asks me to contact USCIS. when i call USCIS, they say that "u will get further information from NVC". what a nonsense ? when i ask them whether this has been sent from CSC to NVC, they say that they do not have any other info. unbeleivable!

do u see something common here. CSC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what the hell is going on there. i see things (from the postings here) getting to NVC from VSC in days.
something is really wrong here.
sam
Yeah, in the same boat here. Over a month since approval. Still nothing at NVC. Every week they say to wait another week, and that it may take up to 90 DAYS!! Agh... -
this is a snippet from another posting. the only differnence is that this was processed at VSC
=====
November 20, 2007: NOA2
November 21, 2007: Touch
November 26, 2007: NVC Received...

something is really wrong here. this seems to be happening witrh CSC only!

after the very long wait, 5 weeks ago my K1 was approved by CSC. i got a letter from CSC saying that this has been forwarded to NVC. NVC still has NO info on this. what to do ? could somebody post the time it takes to reach NVC from CSC ? how do i know that this has left CSC ? i see that from VSC, K1 approval gets to NVC in a few days !! i think people geting processed by CSC is getting screwed left and right. really frustrating this !!Its to bad that the state of the world is such that we all have to wait like this. My peitions have been approved for many months now & are still not recognised by NVC due to the sheer volume of petitions they have recieved.
Its my opinion that what is done there is to not place case numbers on them until they absolutley have to because that allows them to show a different work load than the really have.
I have sent many letters , emails to USCIS & NVC about my cases with no results. Not even a reply. I have asked two U S Senators for help & have not recieved any.
It seems that nothing can be done except to wait.
I hope you read the post here today explaining the work load they are under right now . It has helped me to understand some what.

ya, u can wait for another 3 months before you get a reply!. it is a total dis-service to the citizens of this country. i am really upset. it is taking too long !!
Im in the same boat, got my NOA 2 on 10/22 and we are still waiting for NVC to assign a # and acknowledge they recieved it. I emailed them today, lets see if they respond.my K1 was approved 3 weeks ago, after a very long wait. NVC has no info yet. first of all CSC takes too long to process it. it is absurd that they take too long to send it to NVC !!! how long does it take for NVC to get these papers ? i am talking about CSC here. i know they on that "slow path" ? what are my options ?thanks,
sam

you are 100% correct !!
who has time to take care of the citizens, these days. everybody, including our politicians are working for legal/illeagal immigrants. we are citizens of this country! nobody is fighting for us. we pay taxes and OUR govermental organizations should take care of our needs first, before looking into somebody's H1/Green card applications. our life is held hostage here. we want to get married and hve a family. i think that deserves higher priority.
BUT GUYS , LISTEN, MY CONGRESSMAN SECRETARY SHE IS FOLLOWING UP ON ME, THE OFFICER TOLLD HER WE ARE DOING ON JUN FILERS... BUT SHE IS MAD, SHE CALLS THEM A LAZY A$$ WE GOING TO DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS... BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY WITH 50000 LOTTERY GREEN CARDS A YEAR... AND WE ALL TAXPAYER CITIZEN HAVE BEIN LEFT BEHIND! THE FOREIGN ARE NOT IN FIRST PRIOTY... 50000 LOTTERY GREEN CARDS WHAT A BS IS THAT.??? -
unbeleivable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first of all CSC is so slow in processing. now, this mailing delay. call your senator and complain. you need to act.
it seems that they have no concern about the people waiting and waiting to have a life together.
best of luck.
sam
Hey folks! My fiance called several times to CIS (California) and finally got some information. It seems they are having a “mailing” problem with contractors, so all cases are in the “staging area”. They have never left to NVC!!!
Not sure if it is true, but what I know is that my case (NOA2) is approved over a month and still didn’t reach the NVC.
So, hope that info at least help to give you guys some “peace”.
I wish we could do something! This seems to be a great lack of respect…
Best Regards, lots of patience and GOOD LUCK!!!

God bless the CSC staff! pl. speed up our K1 processing. we are US citizens and we are getting exhuasted
the lenghty processing time. pl. speed up things, please, please, please! God blees you! pl. undserstand our feelings.

let us act together. please, all the viewers if this post, contact our elected representatives. they need to do something for the citizens. if we act together, we will see some positive result. thanks,
-
K1 petition - current processing time is unjustifiably long!
pl call and write to the congressmen and senators on this delay. this has a direct impact on the marriage and life of the citizens of this country.
our USCIS should give priority to this visa processing over some types of visas such as H-1 and all.
only if many of act together we can expect some change. as citizens of this country we deserve this and we should demand it.
here is the link that you can use to contact your senator,
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_info...enators_cfm.cfm
u can google search "congressman state_name" (for eg: congressman nebraska") to find out the list of the congressmen from your state.
pl. call them and e-mail them. let us do this together. then we will see some change. otherwise, we all will suffer though the slow K1 processing.
thanks,
-
i strongly encourage all of us to call/write to the congressmen and senators. unless, we act together, nothing will change. current processing time for K1 visa is totally unjustifiable the citizens. also, send e-mail to "uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov". it is better to call the congressmen and the senators.
if many of us do this, i am pretty sure that we will see some movement. thanks,
-
this is really horrible. this is what you get being a citizen. our politicians are busy serving non-citizens/corporations interests and the USCIS is busy processing all kinds of visas such as H-1 visas and all. we are talking about our citizens getting marrried and having a life. there should NOT be this unjustifiabe delay for this. pl. write to your congressman and senators on this. pl. write to them and call them asking for expediated processing of K1 visa petitions. only if more us complain, something positive can come out of this. current delay in K1 petition processing is totally unfair to the citizens of this country.
again, we all should call our congressman and senators and complain about the unjustifiable delay in the processing of the K1 visas. thank you.

I was just in the USCIS website checking as usual and i ran by the new processing times...For about a month it said it was processin i129f's with a receipt date of Dec 14th...now it says that it is processing Jan 13th petitions...does this mean i have 4 to 5 months to go being a May filer????????????? This is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is killing me...what do we do...it is so out of our hands...feel so helpless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent my I-129F on June 4, 2007 to TSC. CSC acknowledges that it received it on June 12 th and says that a notice of action had been mailed out to me. They cashed the check on June 14, 2007. I have not received anyting by mail, yet. It has been last touched on June 19. I got all these info by using the receipt no from the back of the cashed check. Do you think that it s normal to have such a delay ? What shall i do at this point ? I will really appreciate all the help.

I met my fiancee through a chat room in "freindfinder" and later we exchanged e-mails addresses and phone numbers. after making many many phone calls, i decided to meet her in russia. i have the ticket itenerfies, boarding passes, hotel receipts, photos of us together etc. do i have to explain this in any more detail ? under question 18 of I-128 F, can i simply state what i stated above or do i have to provide any other information on how we met ? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thanks,

it is so unfair to the US citizens that we have to wait this long for the processing time. if he/she was an H-1 or student visa holder, they could bring their spouse and kids when they enter US. no wait whatsoever. we all should write to our congressmen about this "slow processing time". our INS service center should take care of the US citizen's needs before anybody else's. i think we deserve this, as we atleast pay the taxes here.
pl. call your congressman and senator to complain about the slow processing time for the K1/K3 visas. this delay is totally unfair to the US citizens.
