Here is another question. My bank statements are more than one page each, do I have to include all pages or only the first page that has our names on it?
It's getting closer! Thank you all for your help.

Another question!
Do you think I should submit our gas bills from 2007, they are on both names. We don't have an account from the company in 2008. I don't want to get an RFE asking for the bills of 2008. We only used electricity in 2008.

I am almost ready to submit my application for Removing Conditions. But as I read someone here said she submited more thant 300 pages!! Mine has only about 30 pages!
Copy of green card
Bills from 2007 and 2008
Bank Statments 2007 and 2008
Tax transcript 2007
Son's birth certificate
letters addressed to both of us.
Do you guys think this is enough?

Yes, me too I arrived on K-1 visa. They wrote the same thing on my SSN. But right now I have my Green Card, praise the Lord.

You are right, I cam on the K-1 Visa too. When I call them about my SSN they said I had to go to my local Social Security office and then I applied there.
So don't wait for the card, just go to the SSA. But if your I-94 is expired you have to wait for your green card. Sorry.
I hope this will help you.

What's confusing?
You can remove conditions at 2 years after PR status (look for the date on your Green Card).
You can become a citizen no earlier than 3 years after PR status is granted.
Two separate applications, one a year after the other.
What is the difference between the conditional permanent resident card and the 10 year PR. I think this is the one that you have to have for 3 years not the conditional one.
Any comments?
Thanks
Please read the pinned post at the top of this forum. It has every link you need and explains it all in plain language.
Note my timline in my signature; my husband naturalized last summer after 3 years as a Permenant Resident. He started with conditions.
I andestand, but maybe that's because you filed I-130 but for me, I filed the I-129 Fiance visa. So maybe it's different. That's why I am asking.

Hey you all,
I just tried to find some information about when to apply for citizenship if I have a conditional green card, I know that I have to wait first after removing the conditions. But can you apply just 1 year after you send the application to remove the conditional GC or is it that you will apply 3 years after the removed conditons GC arrived. It's so confusing. Specially for people who enter on K-1 Visa. I can't find any information about that.
Thanks

I agree you should receive your actual Green Card(even if it's not green) in about 2 weeks or so. Con grats
Hey, congrats you too, I just checked your timelines, you got the welcome notice in March, did you get your green card ? Or still waiting? Did you had an interview or did you have to go for the ADIT PROCESSING?
-
hi
congrats on the approval..i got the same email as many others have..below is a explanation of the abbreviation for you...nothing to really worry about...
ADIT:
Alien Documentation, Identification and Telecommunications card, Form I–89. Used to collect key data concerning an alien. When processed together with an alien's photographs, fingerprints and signature, this form becomes the source document for generation of Form I–551, Permanent Resident Card.
good luck

Did you get the ADIT? Does that take time ? How it works? Do I have to do that even if I did my biometrics?
I want to know also, as I receive this welcome notice, does that mean the FBI name check is already finished? I want to thank all of you, for your help and kindness.

I just receive an email saying that : Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident. They said the card should be mailed within 60 days or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice. Juste want to know if anybody have those things, and what are the ADIT processing? What to do next?

How about the leases, did you included all the pages or just the one with your name and address. I am asking because I have a lot of rental leases and each of them is about 10 pages or so!
