  1. Hi everyone :),
Thank you in advance for reading and engaging with this post.

    So first the facts:

    1. In 2016 I was approved for a visitors visa for the US to visit my aunt who wanted to treat me for getting accepted to college at the time.
       - I took my trip in July 2016 and stayed for 5 months.
      - During this 5 months period, I met my boyfriend and I also became interested in studying in the states because I loved being around my aunt and also the additional motivation of being there with my boyfriend.  Therefore, my aunt decided to try to get me accepted to a university in the states.

    2.  In 2017 I was accepted for the university, I received a partial scholarship and applied for a student visa.  When I went to the embassy I was denied that visa and my visitor's visa was revoked.

     3. Now in 2019, my boyfriend and I have decided to get married so that we can be together and live a normal life.

So let me provide additional context:

I believe I was revoked because my primary reason for going to the states came in conflict with my application for the student visa and also my sponsor was not someone I knew personally but, a friend of my uncle.  My boyfriend and I worked earnestly at the time to get everything sorted out and we were both crushed when it didn't work out.
However, over the past three years, my boyfriend and I have been in touch ever since.  He comes to visit for extended periods of time each year.  We talk to each other throughout the day (text and call).  He assists with paying bills and also rent for the apartment I live in and as such he sends money to me almost every month and has been doing so since early 2017.  We have tons of pictures and are truly in a bona fide relationship. And we intend to get my lease renewed in both our names and open a joint bank account so we can start saving for living together.
However, we both fear that due to the previous circumstances it may appear that we are being dishonest and would like to get your input in what you see wrong here and what we can do to make it better.

Please feel free to ask any and every question as we need all the help we can get.

Also if you have any tips regarding the wedding ceremony (we want to keep it simple) we would love to hear it.

    Thank you so much!
