Okay Hi everyone.. Thanks to all those who answered my question and calmed my worries about me and my fiancé meeting on a dating site and that it is no big deal

Now this isn’t about me or my fiancé but a friend I met on the K1 visa group on Facebook. She isn’t on Visajourney yet and she asked me to ask this question and send the answers to her.

She is from Nigeria too and her fiancé is 15 years older than she is and he has three kids. They didn’t deny the kids in their Application and they are still expecting their NOA2 but she is so scared especially because of the reviews we read about the Lagos Embassy.

He’s been here two times and hopefully she says he would be here two other times before their interview, that makes 4 visits and he will bring the eldest along with him on one of those visits so she could meet her and have pictures.

For their Application, she sent pictures of him with her family and friends. I hope that counts.

Does anyone have success story about a similar case?

My fiancé and I filed for the K1 visa and we got our NOA2 last week but we are worried about this, especially I the beneficiary 

we met on skout, he(USC) actually messaged me first and we started talking but won’t the consular officer think or assume I was looking for American men just to get a visa?

it was a coincidence really because I applied for the USA F1 student visa almost two years ago and was refused.

coupled with my country being a high fraud country Nigeria and my previous visa attempt( I had not met him when I applied to study in the US)

I am really worried, it was actually a coincidence as I wasn’t on skout to meet Americans, just to meet regular people but it just happened that he saw my profile and took interest in me.

we are three years apart and he’s the older one

We both blacks and Same religion, no red flags
