I went to your profile and look at previous post. Would have helped if you had just said you were approved for an expedite. Every place is different and Ghana is not fast at all even with an expedite.
Have you emailed the embassy (yes I know they usually take forever to respond). You have case# you need to be contacting them get the lead out. Have you contacted your Senator and alerted them you have an approved expedite and no response. You got to be proactive and get on it.
I have emailed the embassy severally and they keep telli g to wait for instructions..i think i would have to try contacting a senator..

How do you ask your dr for a letter? Do you have to disclose that it is for immigration purposes?
There should be a medical reason for the dr to give you such letter and yes the dr has to know its for immigration purposes

Expedite doesn't mean immediate approval, nothing is fast with US immigration. It sounds like you are at the final stage of the process if you asked the embassy abroad for an expedite, your file was already at the embassy in Ghana? Was your interview scheduled by NVC? If so, an expedite is not going to help much, just go to the scheduled interview as instructed by the embassy. Good luck! I hope you get a visa before your wife delivers the baby, but there are no guarantees that this will happen. Hopefully she has other family members nearby who can support her if you aren't there.
I haven't been able scheduled an interview yet.since the embassy's approval i haven't heard from them.i called and was told to wait for the next set of instructions to follow. so i guess i have to wait till i hear from them.thanks so much carmel34.you been very helpful

The only thing you can do is to contact the consulate for further instructions. There is no specific time for expedited cases to be processed......
I have contacted them and they keep telling me to wait for instructions but i feel its taking alot of time
