  1. Last year I made an appointment with my Congressman to discuss a B2 denial my partner had received, after wanting to visit me here in California. My partner is a degreed professional and has had 2 tourist visas to the US in 2009 and 11. He has never committed a crime, has been working as a Dr. in a hospital in India and leading an exemplary life. But he still was denied a tourist visa. He was never given a reason but it appeared as they felt he couldn't convince the interviewer that he had sufficient ties to his country. He wasn't married, didn't own a business nor did he own his own home. Trump had recently come into office and the State department had made things more difficult, as people were overstaying their visas and weren't returning home. So after many years together, we decided we were going to get married anyway, so filed a K1 petition back in April of this year (2019). My question to the community is this; we had a lot of front loaded information offered about our valid relationship as well as pictures and evidence of my trips to visit him in February, along with verification and logs of our on going day to day communication and our meeting 10 years ago, however, I want to send along a letter of support from my Congressman (which I didn't include with my original petition) and was wondering if I should send that in to USC  and would that be the address where I sent the original petition, should I wait till we are approved and take it with other information my fiancé  will take with him when he is interviewed, or maybe send it to the US Consulate in Mumbai, India along with our A# and case#. Or maybe forget it all together. I was thinking it couldn't hurt and the Congressman's Chief of Staff offered to write a letter but also made it claret was only a reference and not a request.

I've been reading through the different forums and topics and haven't found any information that might give me a clear way forward. Any information would be appreciated.
