Filed March 2018, Got RFE and responded June 2019. In July 2019, I had my Biometrics done and I am still waiting...

My extension letter expires in 3 weeks and I need to get the stamp otherwise I will lose my job. When I checked on the USCIS website I found that they are no longer taking infopass appointments. Should I just walk-in or I have to call and make an appointment over the phone.

I live in San Francisco and my application is at CSC

As long as your application is pending you are still in legal status

Hi. I am in the same position as you. March 2018 filler. I has biometrics as well May 2019 and no RFE or interviews. Just waiting

Over a year ago I received a notice saying they don’t need my biometrics. But two weeks ago I got another notice saying I have a scheduled appointment to have my biometrics done. I did them yesterday and my case changed today to “fingerprints review was completed” . Anyone had the same experience? How long will it take to hear something?

    Thanks in advance ✌🏻

Hi. The same happened to me. Did my biometrics over 2 months ago and no updates. Just fingerprint review completed

one month before the expiry date call USCIS customer care and tell them you're extension letter is expiring.

the rep will give you a reference number.

within next 24-72 hours you will get call from officer who will check your expiry and setup appointment at your local office for an I551 stamping.

    no need to freak out.

Thank you for the useful information. Much appreciated. Hope I get my 10 year card before that.

California here too and still waiting as well. Biometrics completed just two weeks ago, so I guess I still have a while to go. I think I will only start worrying when my 18-month extension is nearing its expiry date (end of November 2019).

Thanks for replying: even if the extension letter expires, we will still be in legal status as we have a pending application. Mine expires on December. I pray we don’t get another extension letter.

Sounds like minimum time frame post-biometrics is at least 6 weeks. I waited 15 months already. What’s another month or 6 months maybe, ah heck, 12 months?!? I guess as long as they send me another 18-month extension letter soon, I’d be okay — like I have a choice 😫

I am waiting a month exactly post biometrics. I just hope I don’t get another extension letter: I just wanna be done with Uscis.

Well it's official. 10 year green card is approved and this part of the journey with USCIS is over. Will update spreadsheet when I get to a computer.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Congratulations. The wait is over and you can continue with your life. For those of us that are still waiting hope this will be over soon. For me the wait is okay. What is frustrating is people getting their cards who filed after me.

at least you get some kind of respond I'm waiting close to 100 days to now and got nothing in hand I'm disappointed discouraged others I know got it within 2 weeks of applying Two weeks! and I have nothing still after 15 months :(

I completely agree with you. I am waiting 15 months as well. And no updates. People that have filed after me got approvals. I thought the cases are processed in the order received. I hope that this will be over by the end of the year
