Could someone who was “transferred” to another USCIS office WITHOUT FILING N-400 tell me what is the “content” of the notice letter they sent you? It says online “we will send you a letter explaining why it was transferred” I want to know what the explanation actually is. Anyone? Thank you.
I never got any letter and it says transferred 😕 dont even know where.

Mine has been in local office since april 12, more than month now. Have not received any mail though. I think it meant they are just reviewing our case.

I understand. I thinking about sign the divorce wait for the decree. maybe I will only inform USCIS if the request rfe. but not sure yet.
Yes, but if the divorce finalizes and you wont receive any updates from uscis, it would be better to inform them I think. Idk yet, I am thinking once I get my decree in hand, and if i dont hear anything from uscis, i would inform them.

I HAD I751 WAIVER INTERVIEW ON APRIL 10, IT'S 18 DAYS ALREADY, STILL, NO RESPONSE, IS IT BECAUSE I WILL GET NEGATIVE ANSWER? I am really worried, please guide me.
I filed my I751 waiver in July 2017, and I got RFE in November 2018, And on April 10, 2019, I had an interview.
The interview was okay. In starting she told me to take the oath and then she saw my passport, DL, SS, and GC. Since I didn't get a stamp on my passport she told me I don't have legal status in the US. So I told her that I made an info pass appointment and ask them for the stamp but they told me to submit my expire GC. But for job search they usually ask for GC they don't accept stamp (because of last name different) and my lawyer also told her that in some place like DMV they don't accept extension letter also....so she agreed. After that, she asked me my Ex husband birthday, address, and divorce date. then she asked me for divorce document and she made a copy of that (we already submitted that but she couldn't find it) then I told her my story. She was listening. I told her that we lived in full family (inlaws, sister in law, me and Ex) And they were trying to create misunderstanding between us...for this I gave examples but she told that if they spent a lot of money for the wedding and to come to India then why should they do that? I explained to her that in our culture usually inlwas do that because they have a fear that if their son and daughter in law will be one and they will move in a different home then in their old life they will be alone. so usually they do that,.....but she was arguing and my lawyer also told that it's culture.......but anyway. Other than that she asked me how many rooms at my Ex's home (I gave her the right answer), how many bathrooms, how do we use common bathroom...? then after the interview, she came till gate and she told my lawyer that you will be good.
My lawyer also said "she was well prepared and looks like she was new. I did well, she just had trouble to understand the culture problem. But I will be fine. "
But I am afraid because she was asking the same question 4-5 times and I feel like she doesn't want to understand full family and Culture issue. It is almost 18 days from the interview, still nothing. What should I do? when Can I do services request "interview response out of time period" For the worst case what should I prepare? Please guide me. I am really nervous. I am blind. I don't know what should I do now?
Did you hear anything back yet??

Hi All,
I've been reading this forum since it started. I’ve taken a lot of good information and ideas from here. I hoping somebody here could help me. I am in a weird situation. My husband asked for a divorce. I don’t want to but he’s made his mind. He wants to move out and everything.
What should I do in this situation, regarding to the I751 process? We filed together in April 2018 and the case was transferred to Texas in March. Should I sign the papers and send a waiver? Should I wait? Thanks
I am having a same situation. I filed for divorce yesterday. I changed my adress last week. I was talking to lot of people and they suggested me to wait for RFE before sending my final decree. If i inform uscis now, they will probably send my RFE before my divorce will be final. If i dont inform them I might get approved without RFE and interview, if I get RFE than I will send my decree. Since it is not final yet, it is a joint petition. I live in Texas and it takes 60 days to get final decree so I am just waiting. If i get rfe than I will probably ask them to change it to waiver and send the decree.

I got a letter in the mail today, saying we have been approved! Yeah!
CSC with transfer to a local office
So you were transferred to your local office? Did you ever get interview notice OR any mail telling your case is in the local office? I called uscis yesterday and they told me my case is in National Benefit Center (NBC) right now. Online (new site) shows received at local office. So far, haven't received anything in the mail yet? April 9th filer.

You should be getting an interview date within 60 days of transferring to lee Summit. Sorry to bring you this unfortunate news but thats whats happening by my knowledge so far of you haven't filed n400. Get peppered and if they approve without interview... than. Congrats!
So, Lee summit will schedule the interview date within 60 days or my local service center will(seattle)? I heard lot of peoples who got transferred they dont hear for monthss, just wondering 60 days or more than that?
-
Has anyone in here been approved or heard anything after being transferred to NBC? Mine status never changed online and did not receive any mail, just called uscis and they told april 12 my case was transferred to National benefit center. When i asked him why he said its uscis decision.

Hi I have a mail from USCIS coming this way. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like an official notice I think they normally are green or the actual green card. Have you guys received something like this? I changed my address last week and got an email confirmation I have also received the waived biometrics notice.
9 minutes ago, Rosegrove said:It's officially official, got the Approval Notice in the mail today 😊
Now I'm just waiting for the new GC to arrive. The letter says I'll get it within 60 days which is perfect timing because it should arrive just before I have to renew my driver's license 😉
congratulations. Your timeline and service center?

Does anybody has the google docs link? I can start tracking the approvals, I will make a version that we can post here so we dont have to use google docs as I believe they are prohibited.

April 2018 filer from California here.
I got a notice that an RFE is on the way. Anyone else got an RFE?
I submitted so much evidence already. Overwhelming amounts of evidence.
What date did you submit? Fingerprint and transfer to any center yet? Nothing for me, except transferred to local office at 4/12 notification, but haven't received any mail yet. I wonder how long it takes them to send me mail.

mamata74 where did you get those updates from. I've never seen these before. Can you provide me with the site....I thought I had the right site but there has never been any updates and we already did the biometrics last March? thanks for any information.
You create an account here https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and you should be able to see something. For me this works but https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do;jsessionid=F10007A43B3F9E6824771914F8276924 site says validation error.

My update till date, and I don't know where was it received 😕

Had my case transferred again this week.
One transfer notification on the 15th "transferred to a local office" and another one today the 17th "a new office has jurisdiction".
Do you know where was it transferred? Received any mail yet?

Yeah , thats you over thinking it. You didn't get any bio letter for appointment or reuse. Some of the people that got approved already did biometrics or got letter stating their old bio would be reused. And I think they are addressing things at random not based on who filled first.
Yes, I did received bio re-used letter Feb 22 of this year but no updates online. Even today there is no update in uscis.gov site keeps on telling validation error but uscis.dhs.gov had 'moved to local office" update.

Nothing in the mail and I have not made any contact to uscis. I do not see how that would help, so thats why I didn't bother. My guess would be that received at my local office means they sending it to be treated because of lack of resources but still under the jurisdiction of the CSC or VSC
My status changed April 12 and couple of April 2018 filer were approved on the same day. My point is, they touched my file, and some files they approved. The numbers are after mine, they decided to skip or transfer mine and approve someone who filed after me, that doesnt make sense. Unless, they wanted to interview me or need RFE or something. But again, its just me overthinking 😣

I wonder why they send different messages "received" and "transferred" if it means the same. I received the message April 4th.
Have you got anything in the mail yet? or contact uscis to find out where was it received/transferred? Coz idk if it is same, transferred to local jurisdiction and transferred to local office. Lot of people have got different notification. I wonder how long do we have to wait to find out where is our file at now.
