  1. The Milwaukee office is pretty low key about the whole thing. Took 1/2 an hour and they schedule the ceremony's back to back to back, so they usher you out as soon as its done. While the letter said to bring any employment authorization cards, they didn't take my wife's, they just took the green cards. Not sure if that was an oversight or not. She will be going in for the passport interview in July to get that taken care of. Her Cambodian passport expired a couple of months ago and you cannot renew it in the USA.
  2. Is was 6/16/25, we got the letter on 6/21/25. I tossed the envelope already and so don't have the postmark though.
  3. We got the letter today; Oath ceremony will be on 6/27/25. Rather short notice (6 days) but we can make it.
  4. I was unable to attend with her due to lack of child care, but she was approved. Easy interview, he asked no real questions, he just went over the n400 application. He also wanted to see various documents but she had all of them with her (kids birth certificates , etc). Oath ceremony will be in July, probably. Due to lack of room, they don’t allow anyone else to attend. -Brian
  5. So we were going to wait until the 5 year mark because there was no real rush. However we decided to just go ahead and do it with the current admin In place. So in our case it was actually at about 4 years and 3 months.
  6. So, unfortunately we had to do the 3 year rule; we where going to wait for 5 years, but applied early due the current climate. I was expecting a long wait, so getting the interview letter today was surprising. The green card interview was very easy, since we already had one child together. However, I was able to attend that one. I will see about babysitting; We have no family in the area unfortunately; I'll also check with my Mom if she can help us out, but she lives about 1,500 miles away and its not easy for her to visit us. -thanks, Brian
  7. Hello, It seems my wife got her appointment quite quickly for the Milwaukee WI office. Filed: 4/1/2025 online NOA: 4/3/2025 Biometrics: re-used Interview: 5/12/2025 I'm a bit nervous, because I won't be able to attend with her. We have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and my understanding is that we cannot take them to the appointment, so she will have to go without me. We where not expecting an interview so quickly, and she hasn't started studying for the citizenship test yet. -Brian
