and read the portal for Morocco by clicking on the portal guide above/  read the embassy reviews

there is so much you need to know about the process and the interview at Casa embassy

so, ask questions (even silly ones)

keep informed and know K1 is hard to receive at this embassy (only 6 approved in June but 17 in May))

if you prepare well for the interview and stay keep Tarik positive

he needs to be very confident when going into that interview

for the process, itself, there are VJ members with tons of experience

but for the Casa embassy and interview,  your best advice will come from Morocco members

I agree.  We were approved on July 23rd.  You have to be prepared and be confident.  If you have any questions you can ask me also.  You have a lot of time to get prepared being I see you just received the NOA1.  The NOA2 should take 4 to 5 months if nothing is missing from the petition.  Good luck

  2. There are instructions on the NO2 letter.  It states if you have not received a case number from the NVC TO email the with your name, fiance's name, email address and the case number the USCIS gave you in the subject line.  You ask them for your case number.  That is what I had to do because it was over a month when I noticed I didn't get anything.  Hope this helps

  3. We set the date for Aug 10 of this year.  The deposit was 150.00 and it is non refundable.  I keep my faith in God that he will be here soon.  He would not have us go through all of this to have us be shamed.  I sent you an email with my information.   I am in Florida so we can talk and text.  I know it's a 3 hour difference.  My brother lives in Seattle Washington

  4. I get the same generic email.  Next mo th will be 3 months.  They say it takes 3 to 4 months.  We already have set the wedding date and found a venue.  I just want him here already it has been 2 months since I last saw him.  I was going to go back next month but I'm going to wait.  I found a good deal on tickets.  I'll just wait and keep sending the email everyday.  Hopefully we will get something soon.

  5. Thank you for that.  He was worried about the questions about an engagement party.  We had an engagement dinner when I was there in March.  I was thinking of going again for my 3rd time but I figured I would wait.  1st time was almost a month.  2nd time was almost 3 weeks.  Seems to me you guys got approved only have to send those documents.  Just waiting for him to get an email for his intwrview.  I have been emaili g everyday like you.  Our paperwork wad aent to the embassy April 19th.  Good luck

  6. I am in the same situation as you.  The status says ready. Case created March 1st.  Case updated March 21st.  I have been emailing the embassy and get the same generic answer.   I don't know when he will get an interview.   We have our wedding date for Aug 10th.  I hope we will be able to have it on that date.  I see you guys finally got your interview.  Good luck to you next week.

    Hello,

I am new to this site and I too share a frustration with this process. My fiance's petition was approved and forwarded by the NVC to the embassy in Casablanca, Morocco on February 6, 2019. We have literally heard NOTHING since then. If I email ivcasablance@state.gov, I get a canned email response. Here is the section regarding the K-1 visa:

    Fiancé K-1 Visas
We are currently experiencing a high volume of fiancée petitions. We are scheduling interviews in the order in which the petitions were received at our office, and will send this interview notice to the applicant by email, along with further instructions. Any petitions that expire during this period will be extended as necessary to cover the additional time. At present, the interview backlog spans three to four months following the date which NVC forwards approved I-129F petitions to U.S. Consulate General Casablanca. In preparation for the interview, applicants are welcome to review our Fiancé Visa<http://ma.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiance-visas.html> webpage.

No one ever responds, (I have sent more than a dozen emails to date). I just keep getting this canned response. When I check on the site, https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==, to check the status of our case, it's in "READY" status. It's been in this status for over two months? I have triple checked that the email address in the packet sent to the embassy is correct. They have his email and mine, and both phone numbers. Is anyone else having this issue that has been in "READY" status for a few months? Am I supposed to do anything else at this point? We filled out the DS-160 and he's got the receipt with the bar code, (needed when he has his interview) and he's got the Affidavit of Support paperwork, along with the other documents needed for the interview. I am just at a loss. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I am in the same boat as you were.  We received a email from NVC saying our petition has been sent over to the embassy March 19th.  When I email I get the same thing you get.  I emailed today still the same email.  I will do as you dis and email every day until they send me and my fiance the appointment for an interview.   I see you finally got the appointment May 28th.  Good luck.

  8. Good evening,

I am trying to schedule my fiance interview for the K1.  When I go to the site I created a username and password it only gives me 2 options IV address Registration and Non immigrant.  It does not give me the selection of immigrant.  Is there something wrong with the system? Please help
