Just think, it's almost over. Look at how far you have come over the past few years. It is amazing at how all this paperwork and waiting can get the best of you at times but once its done you kinda laugh about your craziness and prepare yourself for the next step. Not sure if you will be going for citizenship next, which I think we will be able to apply for come this Summer. Which means that a year from now we will probably be waiting for an interview date and/or an oath ceremony date or even be completely done with this whole immigration fun. Yay! Then we can breathe a big sigh of relief that its official over and done with. My hubby was already reading about the citizenship test and taking the practice test online last night. lol
Looking forward to seeing your approval date updated on the site.
Come on VSC - let's make this a wonderful holiday season for everyone and get those approvals out asap.

Looks like USCIS is having problem with their system after the wintry condition;
There is an annoucement on the USCIS.gov
"e-Filing System Outage on Dec. 11, 2009
The e-Filing System will be unavailable on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM EST.
We apologize for any inconvenience."
I hope it is not affecting our I-751 normal process in VSC.

Hello all, so I received my approval notice!! (actually it arrived on Saturday) no updates online, no emails from USCIS but I don't care I have an early Christmas present. I received my NOA on August the 19th and did my Biometrics on September the 16th. Even though I haven't posted before, this website has been a great help, so a big thank you to everyone out there for making VJ such a great website!

I m planning to file I-131 for re-entry after I am approved from I-751 removal condition.
Any recent experience on how long it will take from sending in to receive Biometrical appointment?

On a good note: it seems like VSC is accelerating, if you look at July applicants, not a single person was processed in 3 months (most took 4 months or so), August ones already have three applicants processed in exactly 3 months.
Way to increase their annual bonus; go VSC!!

By the by, I just NOW got an email saying 'approval notice sent'. LOL! Considering it was approved on 11/19, I'd say they're at bit behind...!
I am curious to know how their system works!?!?!?! It feels like tasks are done randomly.

Hi Guys I got my approval letter today. The date of decision was 11/24/09. My gc expired on 11/20/2009

Hate to pour salt in your wounds, Bird, but we just got a letter that hubby's was approved on 11/19. No email or status updates online so it came as a shock - but yippee!!

Any news yet for your approval? Makes no sense why or how it would take this long for you when so many others that file after you are getting approved before you, and if something is wrong, then why not send you a RFE within 30 days of applying so you can clear up whatever it is USCIS needs to approve you case. Strange. Hope you hear some good news.
It looks like CSC has approved almost all of the August filers, I wish VSC would get to August filers. It will probably be Chistmas by the time they get to us.I am a CSC and still waiting. I always get stuck in FBI check like the other times. Guess they don't have a good connection with Denmark
hi zgt its going to be my turn to file next week ,but wanted to say yes I will be VT filler and am already prepared to waite at least 5 month ,
had to waite when we where in I 129f then again with AOS ( even tho AOS wasnt to bad but still way slower then CSC )
i think VT just likes tim hortons since theyr pretty close to canada who knows maybe they take a coffee break there , lol
haha, i wonder what kind of coffee they are having.....good luck for everyone here.

You have no control on how long the 751 process can take, therefore the date for your LONG leave (after 10 year green card) is not confirmed.
I would apply for a re-entry permit after confirming my date of departure.
I see; do you know if I am eigible to apply reentry permit (I-131) before I-751 approved? (as an conditional PR during the one year extension)

For some reason I keep getting the "500 Internal Server Error" message when i try to log into the USCIS account.
Anybody know how to fix that, or any setting on my broswer I have to change?

Made an info pass appointment for tomo to see if i can get the extension (NOA1) letter....i received the Bio letter but never had the 1 yr extension letter. I ll keep everybody posted.
I was wondering whether they sent you your NOA after you called them. Good luck to you! And yes, we will appreciate it if you'll keep us all posted.
Got an 1 year valid stamp on the passport today from INFO pass appointment; they took the 2 yr GC which is goin to expire on Oct.
Then I went to the Bio office to get a early bio done.
Will see what happen next~~

yea, try this; call their CS number and hit *1 to speak to rep tell them ur situation, it has to be more than 30 days so they will handle. Then they ll transfer u; I just request to be sent another one, and they did it for me, I have to wait in the mail couple days to see if I get it.
Hopefully it will come for both us.

When you called, did they asked for case number? Since my main reason why I will call is for the NOA, I don't have case number to provide. Can I just use A# for them to check on my case?
