    APPROVED AND VISA WAS GRANTED!!! :dance::dance::dance: they say it might take 2-4 days for the visa to arrive and he can take his PDOS......

    my big hug and thank you to all my friends here at VJ (you guys know who you are ---special mention to twulf, raymon, yna, khanl, lebanese gurl)

    this website has been my attorney, my 24/7 friend, my mentor, my guide, my unloading system for my heartaches.... where "almost" everyone is willing to give the best idea and tips that they can to ease the hardship of being away from my loveones... i cannot thank this site enough...

    it all came to a point were we are even friends in the real word. Yna and i have been communicating with each other every now and then just to catch up with our everyday living, and im so thankful that she's one of the "bestest" that got me through this journey.... looking back, everything was just a piece of art that the world wants us to go through to value this relationship more. it took us time, money, tears to finish all these. "stress" took a big chunk of my bad travel which i was stressing out too much with anything that comes with this process.... lesson learned? 1. relax, 2. take your time and not to be in a hurry of turning in documents that needs to be rechecked, 3. as long as your presenting all the documents that are needed and the relationship is true, real and honest? you'll get through this. it may take time for there are some instances that cannot be avoided but still.... as i always say, there is always an end to every run. 4. praying about it for God/allah/yaweh/etc only knows best... claim his promises and believe it!

    i will still be here and continue to give whatever ideas and experiences i had to whoever is asking for it.... be strong, believe in whatever you have and you'll be in the same boat as i am today ... very happy and very excited.

    Hey Mitch.. Congrats.. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... :dance::dance::dance::devil: Its so heartening to hear this news from you... I wanted to be the first to catch it but i guess... anywways.. i am really happy for you.. in your heart you always know thats its gonna go through and there will be no hiccups.. but you can't rest till you reach your destination.

    1 step down! my lovey-dubs and son had their medical yesterday (7am-2pm) and they were asked to be back on friday for immunization and the results. i hope the results will come out just fine and accordingly with God's blessings. they did not ask for his passport (my hubby still has it) which i believe they will do that on friday.

    he said, the medical review was not as bad as he expected. it was fast and organized! just be on time, be healthy and you'll be fine.

    1 more big last step and this journey will come to a STOP.

    Hey I told you, I'll be here. Just dont get around to catching up with VJ, so just kinda out of touch with where everyone's case is, but your I shall follow and will try and be here more often.

    Hang tight, you ride is about get over and another one is going to be starting soon (with your life amongst you family here in the US). :-)

    Hi Sir Raymon, so glad seeing you back here... for stopping by inspite of your busy schedule plus another full time job with your family.

    i know huh? 2 more weeks and we'll have that long awaited interview. my husband is already in Manila for his medical checkup and will stay there till his interview day....

    dili na gani mo-uli sa davao pagkahuman. dritso na diri oi... sayang sad ang mga inadlaw! hahahahahahhahh.....

    but trully, thanks for the support... its greatly appreciated!

    Just 2 weeks left.. yeah.. well i guess within a month you'll be with you family... yippee :dance:

    TWAS THE BEST DAY OF MY "MARRIED LIFE"

    MY HUSBAND'S INTERVIEW DAY WILL BE ON JUNE 28, 2011 AT 6:30AM!!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    after 4 years of being apart, finally the light at the end of the tunnel is big that i can see our (L) blossoming!

I haven't been on VJ for some weeks and since y'day i was like i am going to go onto to VJ and I'll see a new thread or a post with long tail of congrats for Mitch. Well guess what.. may be i should have wished for a lottery ticket.. hee hee hee.. here it is.. and i guess i am probably one of the first ones to reply to your post with this great news..     I-130 Approved by USCIS, what are the next steps with NVC?

    Hello All,

    I received my NOA2 (I-130 Approved Notice) from USCIS and they have approved my I-130 petition, that I have filed for my wife.

    Can someone please advise on what will be the next steps ?

    The notice says that USCIS will forward my case to NVC. How do I follow up?

    What all documents I have to get ready for the next steps?

    Kindly, please advise. Any help or pointers are appreciated.

    You wait. NVC will send you papers when the process moves forward and your priority date is nearing current. Keep checking www.travel.state.gov visa bulleting. Good luck.

    11/15/2010: I-130 package Mailed

    11/17/1010: I-130 packet Received

    11/15/2010: Priority Date

    11/19/2010: NOA1 hard copy received by mail

    03/23/2011: Touched by USCIS

    04/01/2011: I-130 Approved

    04/07/2011: NOA2 hard copy received by mail (I-130 Approved by USCIS)

    XX/YY/ZZZZ: What next ??????

    You will not find your priority date on the website... however you will find a date that is AFTER your priority date and will be noted as the "cut off date" It is NOT based on the approval date or many will be waiting for ever but it is based on the date the application was received by USCIS. The cut off date for the oversubscribed countries like Mexico have created their own cut off dates because there are so many applicants there.

    to find it you will go to -

    1. http://travel.state.gov/

    2. Visas (on top)

    3. Visa Bulletin (on left)

    4. select any one of the visa bulletin (the most recent one will be at the TOP).

    http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5368.html Mexico's current cut off date is July 1, 2006 ... this mens IF your application was filed AFTER that date then you have to wait until the cut off date PASSED your priority date for a visa to be issued.

    have you noticed my title and subtitle for this thread? THOUGHTS, INSPIRATIONS, STORIES, ANYTHING!!! lets all share... if you're here for just assistance then i think youre in the wrong thread. us from this thread have been in soo much which came to the point of us being friends in real life already.

    calling someone who is crying over a close office of CSC which delays her "seeing her lovedone soon" FOOLISH... is just not NICE....which and YOU CANT RELATE.

    whats the next step after the I130 application has been approved. A friend of mine applying for his wife, he's on a green card.

    last message he got was back in November 2010

    On Nov 15,2010, we mailed you a noticed that we have approved this I130 immigran petition for Relative, fiance, or Oprhan. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you received the notice, call customer service at 1800-375-5282

    I've been looking at a couple of timelines, so what the next step

    Does that mean the application is now with NVC?

    what is the DC3032 i see on some of the profile, is he suppose to receive that from NVC and send it back, so far nothing just the NOA?

    he is approved by USCIS.

    they still have the application.

    tell your friend to keep visiting www.travel.state.gov and before his priority date (assuming he knows what that is) becomes current, he will start reciving paperwork from NVC. actually the first thing he'll get is DS3032, ask him to call NVC and give his and his spouses' email address, its faster that way and then he'll get everything thru email and saves a lot of time/money.

    dont you know that you are a "heaven sent" i havent had any good sleep since they move the visa bulletin to jan 2007. my case was completed dec 21. and till now i still havent received anything yet. im already preparing myself to have an interview date by july and was even looking for a cheaper flights for im planning to take a vacation home this march since we are both depressed and sad about all these. what is your priority date anyways? well, now, i wont keep my hopes high. its bad to be misled by my own mind thinking ill have the interview by march and at the end of the day.. ill find out that im still in the capsule waiting.

    at least now, im seeing another light at the end of the cave again... one more light... i hope ill have mine by next month too.....

    Hello Friends,

    I have received a email from NVC informing me my F2A interview date for 15 Mar, however i still have not received my Original documents like Birth cert,Marriage cert and other documents which i had submitted to the NVC.Am i right in assuming that they must have already send them to the Mumbai consulate or is that they will mail them back to me?

    Replies would be really appreciated.

    Mitch I am really glad that you're finally done with the whole thing.. well almost. just a couple of steps more (though i bet they'll seem the toughest and longest) but hang in there.. i can tell you that you'll forget about all this once you are together with you family.. you won't even remember it, all those trips, phone calls, paperwork, except talking about it on the coffee table and laughing about it. so take it from someone who's been there. its all good.. you are VERY, VERY close..     thank you sooo much!!! and twas a nice thought.. thinking that you did celebrate holidays with your loveones... how i wish this will be the very first year that ill get to celebrate all the holidays and birthday as a whole family.

    twas a great day.. case completed... operator told me to call back january 17 for my interview date.... thanks to yna, twulf, raymon, chaks, lynn, lebanese gurl and the rest of the vjers.. thanks for all the support... i know im not done but at least end of destination is already visible....

    Hey Mitch, great news. I guess you did get you christmas present early in a way. Almost there. Hang in tight. After this the waiting starts to suck even more.. :devil: . keep us updated.
