  1. Not too far - we were in Sandestin two weeks ago. :)

    You are in Tallahassee?

I love living here near the ocean! Ryker went on the boat with us for the first time two weeks ago. We have a little life vest for him and it looks so cute on him :)

Last weekend we went to a friends house and he went swimming with me in their pool. He loves the water.

  2. Hey GIRLS!

I knows it's been forever since I showed my face here. Just wanted to give everyone an update on how we are doing and I wanted to see how everyone else is doing. I see there are some babies born in the last couple of months. They are all so cute :)

Well Ryker is doing great. He is the best baby in the world. Seriously he is an angel. He barely cries and even if he does it is more like a whine. He is healthy and happy. Growing well. The other day he was 60cm and 6,4kg @ 15 weeks.

We went to see my family in the Netherlands the first couple of weeks of May. Ryker was so good on the plane, didn't cry at all on the way there or the way back. It was good to see everyone and they all love Ryker to dead. I was so happy to be back in the US though.

My recovery from the C-section is going "ok"... I still don't feel anything in the area around the incision but strangely enough it hurts and itches. I have no idea how to explain it but it is very anoying.

I will try to post some pics later on today.

Nessa- when was Ben born? so I can look up your birth story. I am going to try and find evryones story because I am curious :)

  3. Hey there!

Monday March 2 @ 16:07 our son Ryker Johannes is born!

    He was 6lbs. 9oz. 19 inches

Delivery didn't really go as wanted so I ended up having a C-section.

I was in labor for 10 hours and pushing for 4 hours. I was exhausted and the baby wasn't in the right position so the doctor asked me if I wanted to have a c-section. i didn't have to think twice about it!

Today we took him to the beach for the first time!

  4. Hey girls!

I know I don't write much here but still wanted to let you know that Monday I will be induced.

I am so sick and tired of being pregnant, can't sleep anymore, lots of pain, etc.

I will post later how it went and maybe (if I can figure it out) also post some pics.

    Lynn

  5. awww thanks Nessa :energy:

I thought it was about who's due date was coming up first...

I do prefer to wait giving birth at last until the 16th so I will be passed 37 weeks. But that is ONLY 11 days! Where did time go???

  6. in times like these i wish i was mormon, so i could have one of the other wives helping me with the baby

daniel parul is 3 weeks ahead. so daniel, then 2 weeks no baby, then u, then me, then Kimberly (EricC) and vi on the same week, then chrissy

Y'all seem to forget about me

    I know I don't post much...

But today I went to the ob/gyn and I am 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. I also lost my plug the other day. So according to the gyn it wouldn't be more than 3 weeks from now :)

  7. @ Nessa- Yeah the other day someone told me I looked like I am ready to "download" LOL

    BTW I did pre-register yesterday.

I have a weekly NST every thursday now. baby is doing fantastic, my body doesn't like being pregnant anymore. I am not dialated yet but almost completely effaced. as of coming tuesday labor will not be stopped anymore. I will be 34 weeks than. I hope he stays in a little longer at least until 36 weeks but on the other hand I AM DONE with this pregnancy. I am in so much pain!

  8. Hows all the pregnant women today? does anyone know how many weeks you are when you have the glucose test?

I had mine the othr day. I was 24 weeks.

I FAILED!!! so I have to do the 3-hr test....

  9. Well I dont know about all the stuff you typed but what is "THE" Bush doctrine? Can you tell me?

Actually, its a generic statement aa Bush has several "Doctrines". The question needs to be qualified with more information.

As far as Frances Policy advisor? Who freakin cares????? Im sure leichenstein has one, do you expect a candidate to know all of them in the world?

But who am I... Im sure you are wiser than and more informed than the entire electorate of the whole state of Alaska who chose her as their governor.

Shows that you don't know, and yes I can.- The Bush doctrine is the right to pre-emptive strike; democracy-spreading Bush style. Glad to be of service.

And if someone is to run for a such a high office, you bet they need to know who is who in international politics; specially from key countries.

I don't know if I am more informed than ALL Alaskans, but certainly more than you.

    Now stop crying.

A simple Google search would show anyone that your answer is quite basic and is not the "bush doctrine" Go ahead, have another sip of koolaid.

Why do they need to know who everyone is in international politics? True a basic knowledge of the presidents and prime ministers is a plus but not 100 percent necessary and besides, no one asked Obama or Biden who these international clowns are. It seems the Dems dont even know our basic constitution so lets start by requiring our politicians get to know this first.

And I highly doubt you are more informed than I but you can go on believing what you will if it makes you feel better.

  11. Spell it out? Why?

Here's what you originally said. It's pretty clear to me: What I find strange is most of you belive the title of this post as face value statements from unknown sources.

Your objection was with the title. The words are right there, in black and white.

Now, in the guise of "spelling it out", you're changing your objection altogether.

Nope the objection is the same so I will spell it out once more.... Instead of me typing the whole title again, I wrote "title" to save time.

So to make it simple for you, I will type the whole thing out: What I find strange is most of you belive that Palin didnt know Africa was a continent as face value statements from unknown sources.

  12. The title is that Fox News reported it. Fox News did report it. What's not to believe about that?

Well I guess I need to spell it out in clear English. My comment was just about everyone agreed with the report and how awful Palin is.

There is not one named source for the story. Only a bunch of speculation and talking heads but I guess thats Good Enough for most people...

  13. I feel the baby kick like crazy. Yesterday I was watching tv and all of a sudden he started kicking and I could see my belly move! :)

I first stated feeling some flutters when I was 15 weeks or so. Yesterday the gyn told me that because of my body-type I feel things faster and harder. He also told me that because of my body-type I will most likely go through labor and delivery like it is nothing.

  14. My doctor said that it was ok if it was only one wall, the paint was waterbased and have all windows and doors open in the house for at least a whole day...

Thanks for your concerns though :)

  15. Since friday my back started to hurt really bad! :crying: And my hubby is gone for work until tuesday but I could really use a good massage right now.

I am going to surprise him with what I did in the babyroom. I painted the wall and decorated with Curious George decals. Tomorrow I am going to pick up the crib and changer, and one of my friends is going to help me put them together with her husband. My husband will be very surprised because we ordered white furniture but I changed it to ebony now.
