Thank you, everyone, for your help. I'm going to continue to pursue all possible options to find that date before submitting for N-565.

I am currently filing an N-400 application for citizenship, but do not know the date my current spouse became a citizen, a required date needed to submit my application. We have been married since 1990. He became a citizen about 25 years ago. We do not remember the exact day and have since misplaced the paperwork. After a bit of research, I have found N-565, application for replacement naturalization/citizenship document, but with the cost of $555 it's a bit out of our budget. Is there any other way to obtain this information through public records or at a local court? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
