She already is a citizen. 😩 It was granted Oct 23. She thought she can be a USC because we are just waiting for an interview.. it's really so stressful that i have to go through this instead of the easier path. Do you have any idea how long it takes before they respond to my request?  Will they notify me thru email? Thanks so much.

Hi. I need advice. Im from the Philippines and im a beneficiary for F2B petition with PD july30,2007. September 2017, i recieved my welcome letter from the NVC. Did all the processes and paid all fees,  finally finished submission of all the documents by March 2018. I inquired regarding my case status at NVC, then recieved a response that my documents are all complete and waiting for PD to be current. Finally, received my interview letter today, and my interview set on april 23, 2019. But only to find out that my mother filed her citizenship last October 2018. She didnt notify the NVC regarding her naturalization, thinking that the process is done and just waiting for a visa. Now that i have 5 weeks before the interview, do i still have enough time to go through the opt-out letter and the other procedures? Please help... 

Hi, i need help. Im from the Philippines. My pd is july30 2007, under F2B, which is now current status. I completed the submission of documents last March 2018, and recieved a letter last April 2018 that all my documents are complete and just wait for interview schedule. I just recieved my interview letter today and is scheduled on april 23,2019. The problem is, my mother filed for USC last October 2018, and she didnt file for the opt out from F1 and be retained for F2B, thinking that we no longer need to do that because we are just waiting for immigrant visa and all fees are paid already. Should i still notify the NVC regarding the case or should i just move on to medical examination and show up for the interview? I really really need help. Thank you.

Hi. Anybody here who recently had their interview scheduled for F2B? Just want to know the approximate waiting time for the interview when the PD becomes current. Thanks! Really hoping for a reply.
