you can request for an expedited case review based on the following reasons

    https://www.uscis.gov/forms/how-make-expedite-request

USCIS accepts any documents that you send with your expedited request and will not ask for further info beyond your initial submission. you can write a cover letter explaining why your case qualifies for expedited review, include any medical documents, pictures that you wish to submit. Remember that the case is reviewed by a human on the other end.  You can submit the documents to the same location where you filed your case whether its a PO BOX or an address.

my experience is senators are useless. they have no special powers. write a genuine cover letter explaining your situations. you can justify in the letter that the medical issues has led to job loss/ wage loss as USCIS has a medical reason as one of the expedited categories.

    Thank you!!!

  2. hello to everyone,

I been unable to work for almost 3 months because of medical reasons, i have documentation from work and my doctor, I have FMLA . I called USCIS to see if i can expedite my case and they send me an email asking for proof of my reasons to ask for expedition of my case.

I went on line to see the requirements to get approved, it gives  a super simple list of things that i have to send, it also says that it would be good if I get my senate to write a letter on my behalf but iam not sure how to obtain that letter and if its really that important that would make a big difference in my case, Does any one know about this??

    Thanks,

Specifics matter. Does an expedite based on financial hardship mean you definitely cannot support them? Absolutely not. Can it raise questions if you can support them? Yes. Other factors, such as if you are using a joint sponsor or not, could be factors as well.

Do you think its worth it for me to try to expedited his process using this method?

No need to change your last name just for the i-130.  However, I do suggest not to change your last name while the i-130 is processing (ie after you submit application).

    For Question 53, yes

    Thank you!!

  5. I am staring with my I-130 process for my husband and i some questions

We just got marry last month Feb 05, so I haven't change my last name or any of my documents, would it be better for my process to change all my legal documents before filling or that doesn't really matter?
