My original interview was scheduled for Feb 20, 2019 at 1:00pm at Newark. USCIS called to cancel it because of a "snowstorm" and said they'll reschedule another interview ASAP. Now two weeks have passed and my status still hasn't changed.
Anyone in the same boat? What can I do? Any way I can get someone to look into it? I don't want my case to be left in some black hole in their system.

My appointment was for Feb 20, 2019 at 1:00pm at Newark. (GC 08/2013)
Received a call in the morning on the day around 8:30am and was told the appointment will have to be rescheduled "to late March or April" due to the incoming snowstorm.
My wife's appointment was the next day Feb 21. I went with her and asked the lady at the check-in window if they can squeeze me in and she wouldn't accommodate it. Asked again at another window later when another lady yelled "anyone still holding appointment letter please come to the window" and she wouldn't do anything either and just told me to wait. I asked how far out my new appointment would be rescheduled to and she said "not long"...
No update on the USCIS website so far.

My wife is in a similar situation. She attended her interview Feb 21st in Newark and was told to go home and wait for an RFE - but we never received one. Now three months after, on May 22nd her online status changed to "Request for Evidence Cancelled" and then "We approved your application". She's so fed up that she doesn't really care how much longer this is gonna take now...
Have you received the oath ceremony notice yet?
