I’ve applied for J1 waiver recently but my case status is not yet updated in DOS, that means my documents were not yet received by DOS. And from above discussions, I got to know that time line for favorable recommendation is around 8 to 12 weeks. My question here is, Whether I can travel out of USA during this process? My DS 2019 form is valid until Aug 2020 and in March I’m planning to travel out of USA for a month. will there be any issues during my Visa process in Home country or when returning back to USA? It would be great to know if anyone travelled internationally during Waiver process. Thank you and appreciated.
