Hi all,

I need an urgent help. My visitor visa got expired and i had to renew it under visa renewal program within one year of expiry of my visitor visa. I met my fiance in July but we were not sure after our first meeting. In September I applied for renewal and answered the Question  ''purpose of trip - Family visit" in DS 160 (my family is there and i was usually visiting US in every 2-3 years during my previous visa) though my visa got denied.  At that time he was not my fiance or even boyfriend. we just met once and liked each other, that's it. but in December he proposed me and i accepted. My fiance filed K1 on the basis of our meeting in July. Now my question is-  what would be the impact of this because CO may ask this question that I applied visitor visa when i was talking to my fiance but did not disclose it. Kindly help.

I am the beneficiary in K1 visa. I have a question about nick name. I have never used nick name anywhere. All of my legal documents are on my original first and last name. I have been to US few times on tourist visa too and i never mention nick name in any of my visa petition. But when my fiance filed K1, I found out that my ex-husband used namita alias nimi (the name he used to call me with) in divorce petition. This was an ex parte divorce taken by my ex husband and later on I accepted. I am worried now because divorce decree is with nick name and I never mentioned nick name in my recent B2 visa petition (rejected because I have family ties) and I 129F petition. Kindly help.
