My husband is going to Morocco for the first time since he has came here to the US. He has his Green Card. We have a son together, he is taking him with him to Morocco. Will there be any issues I need to be aware of. Do we need to register with Morocco for our child.

Our main concern is at the airport. To enter into Morocco, US Citizen, only need their passport.

Is there anyone that has experienced troubles in there country when they brought their children??????????

Sorry everyone, I have been quit busy latley. I have some awsome news. Adil and I are now married. We got married on April 9th. Also, I just found out that we will be having a baby as well. We are very happy.

This is what I got from a family member, they researched Morocco and said that they sale children for sex slaves and also females.

This basically was the biggest I heard from someone, and it upset me so much. That the person went so far to try to take my daughter from me.

This person didnt want to hear that we in the US have sex slave and much worst than what would ever happen in Morocco.

Adil arrived in New York on Thursday. He had to sit at customs for 3 hours. This made him miss his flight. He told me there was many people that was sent back to Morocco. Luckily he was not one of them, however because of the wait he missed his flight out of New York to Chicago. It was the last flight so we had to wait until morning. It is so nice to have my love here with me.

yay! casa emailed me today and said they received my application and will send my fiance his packet/interview shortly!

and i'm leaving in just 3 days! AND my cold is doing much better! AND i ordered a shiny new camera that should arrive tomorrow so i can take lots of pics in maroc! whoop whoop!!!

GOOD MORNING everyone. I just got home from work and thought before I would go to sleep I would send a quick update of my status. Adil will be arriving at JFK airport on the 22nd, Thursdayy

We bought a ticket though an agency in Morocco. It was much cheaper than any other ticket. We decided to do one way without any connections. Adil said that when he asked if he would be allowed to do connecting flights he was told he could not because this was his first time to US. So we went that way. I sent the money through western Union. Then I made a connecting flight from JFK to Chicago, where I will pick him up at 9:50pm. I am so excited. IS is Thursday YETT

Yes this is a big worry of mine, Because I know how he feels when he is not working. Also we will be moving as well, because the area I am living know there is not hardly any arabic, and I want to be in a area that he feels comfortable in and for my daughter who is half black as well. If anyone knows of a great arabic community and that is well diversed please let me know. I am willing to move after I get my degree.

Adil has a degree will that be excepter here when he wants to go to college???

So far I have found good ticket prices through cheapoair.com and expedia.com just a update.

Adil just called me and told me he has visa in hand

WE have another question, does he have to have a direct flight to the US or can he have connecting flights to other countries then to the US?

Also is it cheaper to get the ticket through the agency or throught the internet?

We are hoping for him to leave on Monday or Tuesday of next week. IM SOOOO HAPPPYYYY!!!!

We watched Babel last night. Good cinematography of Morocco, but I was disappointed with the film overall. Did you see it?

Yes I seen the movie just this weekend. I agree the movie was a bit odd. Why the uncalled for scence with the boy and girl in morocco? But besides that it was interesting to see a movie in different languages besides English. And I was quit amazed with my self how much I understood the arabic.

I call DOS today to check status on Adils visa. The lady was really nice when I called. She stated that everything went well in the interview there was not any negatives. Then I asked her about security checks and she said they were not completed yet. IM CONFUSED> I called Thursday the lady told me they were but now this lady says there not and she then told me to call back in 2 weeks. UGHHHHH!!!! I dont want to wait.

I got another question. When you guys sent in I129f did you include your criminal records background. I sent in my fiances but i didnt send in mine because It didnt ask for one. DO you think this could be what they are checking?

Also I think my fiance did a boo boo. We had a fiance party while I was in Morocco this summer and I was wearing a wedding dress. He took those pictures to the consule and he explained to them that it was a fiance party.

She asked him about my daughter.

I was there for 3 months this summer she asked him why I didnt bring my daughter?

He told her, her dad would not allow her to get a passport and she went to florida with her Grandma

she asked how old my daughter is?

she asked to see the picture?

Adil says she was nice and they laughed and seemed to have a good interview. At the end she said the consult will call him.
