I'm hoping someone has had experience with this and can help with advice.
My spouse got his EAD in Dec 2019 last year, and then his AP in Feb of this year, came separately and not in a combo card.
We were scheduled for an interview in April, but obviously it was cancelled due to Covid.
With everything going on, we realize we should apply for an extension for both - can we apply for the extension for both now and hope to get a combo card renewal? Or do we have to apply for renewal for each separately?

Has anybody had their de-scheduled interview re-scheduled yet?
I came here for exactly that question - we have not. Wondering if the huge number of USCIS worker layoffs are going to delay further....

Same thing happened with me , forgot to sign the advance parole application, they returned it to me , so i signed it sent it back but when i recieved my ead it wasnt combo even tho i applied for combo card.
Ugh, so worried this would happen. How long after the EAD came did it take you to get the AP approval?

Hi All,
Quick question, we applied for both advance parole and work authorization, and have been checking USCIS for updates.
We did have to file a correction for the advanced parole (just entered one field incorrectly), and sent it back promptly, and were hoping this wouldn't hold up that portion.
Now USCIS says that the card is being produced when we run our MSC number for the work authorization, but no change in the message for the advance parole.
Is it possible the card being produced could come for just the work authorization, and not include the advance parole? Or are all the cards combo cards?
Ugh, so mad we had that stupid typo....

Oof, I just looked up the NBC wait times on the USCIS website, and they are all much longer than the other locations. 6 to 8 months at NBC vs 3 to 5 months at others. Does that mean that all K1 applications have much longer AP and EAD timelines than other AOS filers?
Thanks for any insight! We are hoping it won't be 8 months!

Hi EdmoAm,
Did you ever get a clearer response from Montreal regarding extending the i-129? We are also trying to extend it and got that very frustrating response that the person at the interview will decide - which might be past our deadline so that's not a very comfortable place to be!
Anyone else have an interview recently with an expired i-129 and was told it was fine? We previously thought not to worry but are now a bit concerned!

Hi All,
We were just last week able to book an interview for late March in Montreal. Unfortunately personal circumstances have arisen meaning that we many not be able to attend an interview until May. Is there an easy way to push back the interview date once it's booked? Or is this really hard to do/attracts some push back?
Thanks for any insight you might have!

One more question:
In preparation for the interview, it says you need to bring all past passports? Is that really a thing? I don't think my partner still has those around.
Anyone asked about this, or provided this?

If you got this, you got Packet 4:
......
Thanks! Sorry I freaked out a bit because I couldn't figure out how to navigate that site - that the link to register for an interview is at the bottom left seemed very weird.
I think I've got the hang of it now - thanks so much!

Oof, I'm so confused - I think I got "packet 4", accepting my packet 3, but now I have no idea how to schedule the interview. Is there a helpful step by step somewhere of how to proceed after packet 3?
Thanks so much!

Has anyone had any success calling the NH number listed here to get an update on their file at the Montreal Consulate? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/contact-us/us-visas.html

Can I call in to the Montreal consulate to check in on the status of my case?
Help filling out I-765 EAD Renewal - "Current Immigration Status or Category"
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Hi there!
I'm hoping someone can help with advice on how to fill out two particular questions on the 1-765 - we are filling it out to apply for a renewal of the EAD work permit.
My questions are in Part 2:
#24. It asks for Immigration status at last arrival. My husband arrived on a K-1 Fiance visa, but on his most recent I-94 it says B2 - should we put B2 in this field or K1-Fiance visa?
#25 - It asks for Current Immigration Status or Category. What do we put here? On his current EAD card it says "C09" - is that what we should put? Does the format matter if it is "C09" or (c)(9), etc?
Thanks so much for your help!
