    • I have a question. I recently became a naturalized citizen however the name on my naturalizations certificate has my mothers maiden last name as my middle name as opposed to my fathers last name since I am already married. I have two given names. At first, I filled the form N-400 wrong I put my first given name, my second given name as my middle name and my last name as my last name so the IO had to change it. He instead put my mothers last name as my middle name instead of my fathers. At first, I thought this was the right way of naming here in the us and its different from our country but when I asked alot of friends, their middle name is their fathers last name not their mothers. May I know if this was an error? And How may I be able to correct this. Thank you so much.
