I just want to inquire regarding on how to process the citizenship of my children, should the father file for a petition or should I apply for the CRBA? Here is my situation, I, the mother of the children is not a US citizen while their father is a US Citizen since birth but born abroad and now staying at the US for the first time for almost 2 years. The children are born out of wedlock but we are married now. Does he still needs to stay at least 5 years in the US? Thank you

Thank you very much for the help
