Extension letter is usally first and them the BIO appointment. Yes you should have received this letter of extension alredy. Hopefully she can get a stamp at the infopass in order to renew her DL. Please let us know how it goes

My wife’s green card was expired on 8/10/2009 after two years. We filed for I751 5/22/09, biometrics on 06/06/09. She didn’t receive the extension letter! Her drive license will expire on 10/10/09 what should we do? She needs the green card to renew her drive license or the extension letter.

That's unusual - no NOA1/Extension Notice but did get the biometrics NOA.

Definitely would call/make an infopass appointment.

Accompanying has to do with other Immigrants, not US citizens. You don't put your name there because you are not immigrating with her.

According to your DS230 you are single,! I am married so in question 14 I will write my name because I am the spouse. So in question 14 I have to write my name, so that why I AM confused with 21 because it says write the same in question 14.??

go here http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html and read towards the bottom where it says Notification from the NVC there are specific instructions for each. basically it depends on whether you are using a sponsor for support or are using your own income. the ez is just for your own income, the I864 is for listing your sponsor and additional assests

when call the NVS what case number do have to put in ? the old case number from I130 or the new one, the problem with case number they assigned starts with ALG2007######? hey don't have that option because so what should I do to check if the next step is generated?

If only the DS-230 part 1 is required (dependent on country), only a photocopy of your foreign spouse's biographic pages of passport are needed. If both parts I & II are required to be submitted to NVC, then you will need to submit all that is listed here. To check on what is applicable depending on your spouses country, there are links on the DOS page available here

Yes, the DS-230 and instructions will be sent to you if you are the agent. Your foreign spouse will need to at least sign part I, you can complete it if you wish. Part II should be completed but NOT signed as it is signed at the interview. She will also need to send you anything listed in the above link that is required to be submitted to NVC along with the DS-230. Which in the case of those having to submit parts I & II is just about everything except the medical. Read the link above, it is quiet clear in what is required.

As soon as you know it has been generated you can email the choice of agent. You don't have to wait. The is the whole point of the various shortcuts

I never used James Shortcuts myself. Instead if you read the NVC Shortcuts I wrote up at the beginning of that thread you will see how you can still save some time with the DS-230

Since my husband will be my choice of agent, he will receive the DS-230 package by the NVC. But of course I will have to fill out the DS-230. So, can I use the downloaded form? And I have to send it back to him and not straight to the NVC since he's got the cover page with the barcode, right? (I think we're leaning to not using the shortcuts).. And then he will send it to the NVC? Is that correct?

Yes the barcodes and the e-mail of the choice of agent to the NVC will work. Just be sure to wait until the automated phone message at NVC tells you that the two documents have been generated. Do not send anything before that.

after the message I send this morning worried..I checked my case status in the afternoon and guess what my I130 get approved today and when I get home I fined a NOA1 from my 129f .

I have an advise for all the married couple. please don't do like me and wait just for I 130. Files for the K3 visa that will make the I130 touched or more get approved.

I didn't get my I 130 NOA 2 yet but they said that they mailed it on the 18/03/07. I guess I willget it soon.

I send the I 129F, or K3 for my wife 10 days ago I haven't get back anything from them. how long do I have to wait for a reply. how long do I have to wait for NOA. is that late that I filed the I 129f after 4 month I filed the I 130?

Maybe it's taking a while because you skipped the I-129F. I'm not familiar with K3 (I came on a K1) but everybody else who went through the K3 process filed the I-129F.
