Do not repeat the same mistake again, use the correct info.

Will it matter in the interview? If the address in ds 160 and gss profile is not the same ? I mean i only forgot to put a word, but street number and postal code and state is the same?

  2. Hi guys i paid my mrv fee last Sunday, and until now i have not scheduled my appoint yet because of some mistake i made in my ds 160. So i forgot to put a word in the address in my ds 160 and my question is, in my Gss profile shall i follow the same address i put in my ds 160 or should i write the word i forgot to put . Will this affect my interview? Hope you can enlighten me. Because until now , I haven’t completed my gss profile because of this mistake i made in ds 160.

  3. Hi everyone, we received our  NOa2 in August. Our visa progress has not move since then. And so while waiting for update from Nvc , i decided To secure a police clearance from Thailand so that i would be ready once we received the packet from nVc.. I’ve worked there for the last 5 years.. could anyone give me an idea on how to secure a police clearance from Thailand.
    thank you so much!

You don't need to update the uscis.   If you want you interview in Manila versus Bangkok then you intercept the petition at NVC

Thank you... my concern is about the future mails that they will be sending if there are ... they might address it in Thailand.

  5. Hi all!!!

Anyone who could advice me on this matter.

The address that we sent to uScis was my previous address in Thailand but then i went back to Philippines in March and I cannot go back to Thailand anytime soon because of the travel restrictions that they implemented. I am currently living in Philippines now and we just want to change the address that we sent.
also we received an RFE that is asking for more photos of my fiancé and I and a letter of intent to marry ( which we submitted when we first sent the packet)..

    thank you in advance.

Don't stress over this, not a big issue, especially with Philippine addresses ;)

Now that you have some time, stop by the Philippines forum, say howdy and get up to speed with the process there   https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Oh I'm sorry, I suppose I should clarify that the Beneficiary is living and working in Thailand since before the 5 years of history that i-129F requests.

  7. So finished filling out the form and sending the packet in last month, only to realize that for beneficiary's past physical address date (page5, part 2, line 13b) was input as "present" when it should have had a 2018 date.
To clarify the beneficiary's mailing address listed before that is correct.. everything else is correct upon multiple checks since this was noticed..
So what is the best coarse of action now? Form I-797C has already been sent to state that USCIS has received the form for processing. I have heard you can send an I-129F Supplement? I have also read if the mistake is insignificant then it can be corrected with the next response as to now delay the processing by adding to the workload?

    Thank you for your time.

Hi everyone, we submitted our I -129F form last January 28, 2020. We received the form I-179C notice of action on February 5,2020.  But we found out some corrections in the form that we had submitted, like in the beneficiary’s address history, so i started living in that address on sept 30 , 2016 up to may 8 2018,but my fiancé put up to “ present “ instead of may 8 2018. How are we going to resolve this mistake. Thank you in advance for those who will give answers.

Thank you for the answer.  My fiancé is planning to call the contact number in the NOA1 , do you think this will work or we just have to write the supplement letter.
