I do have the "Case Transferred" status the next business day after I filed AR-11, and the next status would be "Interviewed was scheduled".

I just got my interview letter after two days of filing the AR-11. Was surprised that they scheduled the appointment very fast!

As long as you meet the residency requirement (living in Dallas at least 3 months prior to your filing date) then you are fine.  Your priority date will always be the date on your first receipt.  Once you file AR-11 (and you should also update the address on your online account if you filed online), USCIS will update your address and the new zip code will trigger a jurisdiction transfer of your file.  Your case status will show “we transferred your case to another jurisdiction...” (not verbatim, but along that line).

 

Your priority date will then get in line chronologically with all other applicants who are under St. Louis jurisdiction.  You will not have to get back in the line.  Moving does not affect your priority date.
 

I filed in Boston, MA  in May and got transferred by the same employer to Tampa, FL a month later.  I filed AR-11 and a week later I got an interview appointment scheduled for August 12. One of my friends lives in Tampa and filed a week before me, and we both got the same interview date.  So I can confirm that moving does not put you all the way back in line.

So when you transferred your case, how did you confirm that it was successfully transferred? Also, did you have the message “your case was transferred” on the status page up until when the interview was scheduled?

If I move while my n-400 interview scheduling is pending and file an AR-11, will my application at the new field office retain my original priority date or will my priority date change to the date I changed field offices? I applied in May 2019 in Dallas and am planning on moving to Saint Louis in late August. I'm wondering if my application will be delayed despite Saint Louis having faster processing times.

Per USCIS's policy manual , students are one of a few groups of people who have the privilege of choosing their residence when applying for citizenship. If you can get a Missouri ID or License then it may make things easier. Otherwise, bring your Texas license, school ID and other relevant document (e.g. lease and other documents establishing residence of 3+ months). I actually know someone who was in the exact same situation. She was a WebsterU (St. Louis, Missouri) student whose parents are in Ohio. She had her biometrics in Ohio (during summer) and interview in Missouri. She just provided her Ohio license and school ID and GC at the interview. She had an RFE regarding something unrelated to residence (e.g. marriage certificate issue), but was ultimately took her oath with no issue.

Did she file an AR 11 which automatically transferred her case from Ohio to St Louis? Or did she change her address through the online application? I’m thinking about applying through Dallas here now and then transferring it to Missouri.

I’m filing the n400 through St Louis, Missouri where I go to college although my home address is in Texas. 

However, I noticed that the n400 interview asks for a state issued drivers license. Is a Missouri drivers license a must or can I use my Texas license backed by documents (college housing statement) that prove my residency in the St Louis USCIS district?

I can't find a thread or anyone who is a recent n400 St Louis filer. I would like to know how long the process has taken for others (the USCIS website tends to overestimate the processing times so that's not really accurate).
