    Hello guys

     

    I use Visa Journey to estimate my 1-485 Interview time. However, I'm very confused when I were selecting the "local CIS office" dropdown box.

    I mailed my I-485 application to the Chicago office, but I think my interview will be in San Francisco. 

    So when I select "local CIS office", should I choose Chicago or San Francisco?

    Name Change AOS

    in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

    Hello everyone, I have a question.

     

    I was on K1 visa and I got married to my husband recently. On our marriage certificate, it has a row says "new name" which I changed my last name to his last name.

    However, now I am trying to apply for AOS, but I still wanna use my original last name, not the "new name".

     

    Is it possible for me to just put down my original name that shows on my passport? Will I be questioned abt this later?
