I will call later today and hopefully catch them before they go home for the long weekend.
so much thanks,

Elizabeth-
It's 6PM in London, I'm sure they've gone home already.
I noticed your timeline is very similar to mine, I met my hubby while in grad school in London (7/04) & had to leave Oct 05. It's worth the wait, I promise!
I'm going to try calling the DOS. I'm too cheap to call the embassy.
On the American in London note, Devilette, I remain livid at the UK, as my grad school now grants foreign grads a special work visa valid for a year past graduation.

Dreamy fiance is wondering if printing packet 3 forms on A4 paper would be detrimental. (I had sent him 8.5 *11 paper for G-325 as I figured that USCIS cant deal with metric paper, but figure that London Consulate must be used to it.)
thanks

Hi,
Dreamy fiance recieved packet 3 on monday! I've got my I-134 half filled out. This is what is keeping me from finishing it:
1. Where do I list my Roth IRA? Is that "on deposit in savings banks" or "stocks and bonds?"
2. Personal property= computer, scanner, shoes, vintage clothes that I could sell for cash to support us if need be?
3. Once it is filled out and i get my signature notarized, what do I do with it? Does dreamy fiance take the original to his interview?
Please advise!
Much thanks!

You don't need to count the time outside the USA as time that you did not reside in the US. You did maintain Domicile while out of the country? You did consider the time out of the country as temporary and DID file IRS returns reporting income outside the country, which is required of all us citizens? Filing the IRS returns also maintains domicile.
Excellent, much thanks!

I'm working on my i-134, and am stumped with the "how long have you resided in the us?" I have lived in the US since birth, but have lived in France for 18 months and london for 25 months (returning to usa oct 2006). How do I answer?

Today was a wretched day until I got our NOA2 by email!!! Sinus headache, fatigue, grumpiness, etc have disappeared! Who knew the USCIS could be so curative!

Our NOA1 from VSC was dated 27 Feb. We were touched on 2 March, but NOT SINCE THEN. I'm freaking out. What do we do? Can we do anything?
