I have the same problem of my petition expiring before my interview. I made several calls to the embassy and I was told that I need to inform the consular on the day of interview about my expiry. 

I will advice you also call the consulate and inform them of this development.

Hello Everyone,

Our K1 visa was approved on the 27th of November 2018, and we received the NOA2 in the mail a week later.

We filed in March 2018, although the case has been approved, it wasn’t a smooth journey. It took us over 3 months to get the NOA1 and we also got an RFE which was resolved in a week.

Since the approval, my Fiancé called the NVC and he was given a case number and an Invoice number. 

Please how long do we have to wait?
