I sent in the fingerprint like 3 months ago. Is the next interview step the fingerprint or what?
I haven't received anything in the mail in the meanwhile or any notices from an email.

It says on the flowchart that I have to apply for a SSN before marriage license? Then after we get married, we have to visit the SSN office again and do it again? I am confused here.
Based on this site, it looks like I have to apply for more forms such as: i-131 and 1-765

Please help here. I am looking for my fiance to get a job and adjust her status as soon as possible. What would be the clearest and fastest steps that must be done.

You might want to read this VJ K-1 guide:
Based on the link I need some clarification on the title below. I am not understanding it too well.
What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

Do I send all the things on the checklist to the embassy or bring them all to the interview? I am confused?
Also, what is the best way to show proof of income? I just got my first job recently and have been working for only a few months.
I do have in my bank account more than the poverty line. What do you guys think?

So, I went overseas for a few months and my mail went missing. Apparently, I got an email saying that my case got approved and got sent to the consulate in China. However, since I lost my mail, I don’t know if there were any more instructions besides the email.

Wondering if I should cancel my government aid if it becomes a problem. Ever since Trump got elected, I heard some rules changed and are now considering this. Anyone else got any thoughts? When would they check me if I do have this?

How to fill out city/town/village for Chinese Addresses?
This is her address in Chinese广东省江门鹤山市雅瑶镇大岗大笃村
This is the pinyin
Guǎngdōng shěng jiāngmén hèshān shì yǎ yáo zhèn dà gǎng dà dǔ cūn
This is her
City - 江门 / jiāngmén
County Level City - 鹤山 / hèshān
Town? - 雅瑶 / yǎ yáo
Village? 大岗大笃 / dà gǎng dà dǔ
These are the separation
广东省| 江门 | 鹤山市 | 雅瑶镇 | 大岗大笃村
I am very confusing on how to fill in the place of birth.
Do I write the Pinyin? The question is asking city/town/village.
Do I do it like this? hèshān / yǎ yáo / dà gǎng dà dǔ
When it asks for Native alphabet, do I write in Mandarin with slashes too?

No US embassie3s in the US.
Your service center for I-129F processing would be CSC (California) since all I-129Fs for a fiance go there. The Dallas lockbox is where you send it, but not where it's processed. It's just an intake facility.
Ah! Thank you! Great stuff. 😃

You can submit liquid assets for consideration. For a K-1 visa, the CO looks at a totality of the circumstances. COs at some embassies/consulates are more likely to consider assets than others (i.e. Manila is known to not do so).
Assets should be at least 3x the minimum required income level, with more obviously being better.
If you start the process now, you are looking at ~8-12 months before having to send the I-134 + income evidence. That's plenty of time to try to find a job and just use income.
The tax forms for 2018 aren't even available yet. They won't request 2018 tax returns until after tax day. But as noted above, that doesn't come into play until towards the end of the K-1 process.
Thank you very much for the help and advice, I really do appreciate it =). I was definitely really worried about the income part.
It sounds like, I don't have to submit my income evidence until the end of the process, which is really great and it will definitely give me time to work things out!

The embassy where my fiance is Guangzhou, China. My embassy would probably be in Dallas, Texas.
I haven't started the process yet and I am still researching how to prepare.

I have a lot of liquid assets in hand because I recently just sold a property, but I do not currently have a job. HOWEVER, I will 100% start later this year (2019). Based on my past history, I was employed for 3 months in 2018 and almost made enough to hit the poverty of 16k. Will it be alright to still apply? Also, how should I present myself when it comes to salary requirements? I haven't file taxes yet for 2018.

I am a student I have signed an offer letter for a 2 year salary job. I haven't filled my taxes because I haven't gotten paid/started yet, but would this do? I won't start my job until next year in July after I graduate.
