I'm not an expert, but I was reading somewhere that it is risky to travel on asylee status, using your country of origin passport.

Well, USCIS states that it's not even necessary to be in United States for receiving refugee travel document -- you can go to different country before that and they can ship you that document to their embassy in that country. Therefore they assume you can use other documents to travel abroad.

  2. Hi everyone!

Here is the thing: I'm a USA asylee from Ukraine. I've got my Refugee Travel Document and updated my passport to biomentic passport, which allows traveling to EU without a Shenzen visa. Just have a few questions:

1.Will I need to have my original form for asylum status approval  with me during a travel, or my Refugee Travel document should be enough to successfully get back to USA?
    2. I'm going to use my Ukrainian Passport upon entering Czech republic. Would that be a problem that there will be no stamps in my Refugee travel document when I'll return to USA airport? Would I need any stamps for that trip in my Refugee travel Document?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

  3.  I am citizen of Ukraine who lives in USA as an asylee. I have a refugee travel document that allows me to travel to different countries, including EU, for instance I can go to Germany without getting a Shenzen visa, just with my travel document. However, I didn't find anything about entering Czech Republic. Am I allowed to enter Czech Republic without having a Shenzen visa if I legally entered Shenzen zone in Germany and have a stamp in my travel document for that? I do not have a Ukrainian biometric passport to enter Shenzen country without a visa, so my Refugee travel document is going to be the one I will use for that.

Thanks in advance for your help.
