That does seem puzzling....is there any sort of immigration petition filed (or filed in the past) on your behalf with USCIS?  How long did you tell the officer you were planning on staying this time in the States?

No , i don't think so for this is only my second time traveling . I gave them the return date on my ticket which is 3 weeks

Does your  mom live in the US?

There's no sponsoring on a tourist visa---you are denied/approved entry based on your own merits.

I propably used the wrong term , but she will be with me this time to show that i Will have enough funds , we are just trying here . But i have gotten every document that the CBP asked for just hoping it will be good enough . Also thank you for replying

I was not traveling with any personal documents , they asked where i was going i gave them my God mother address because thats where i would have been staying . I am also thinking that maybe because i had insufficient funds to show for my stay of 3 weeks , i was carriny $1100 in total , but my parents would have also been coming later and would be providing me with more cash . I am scared i will b denied again , this time i will be bringing the documents CBP officer asked for , my mom will also b accompanying me to show that she is my sponsor , dont no if that will work but she accompanied me on my first trip and i was not denied .

Also CBP officer said i looked nervous , but i answered in a calm and mannerly way we were both respectful to each other.

It's the catch-all for when denied entry due to belief of immigrant intent, and your admission into the US voluntarily withdrawn.  The stamp itself cannot be removed.

Always good to be able to prove compelling reasons to return to your home country after vacation.

When you were denied entry, what's also important to figure out is WHY the officer believed you had immigrant intent, if you truly didn't, so you can work to overcome this the next time.  Were you travelling with personal documents (ie. birth certificate, job resume), what questions were asked at the border and how were they answered, etc.

What were the questions asked of you at the border, and what did the officer seem to focus on?
