I just got news from Frankfurt about our petition, that we as Dutch residents are not eligible to file there as we are not German residents.
Which is odd as previous posters and Dutch residents on this forum had no issues to go DCF there. Dont know if anything has changed since last year, but it is no longer available. So Chicago Lockbox it is..

The petition asks for names, birthdates, city of birth and current city they live in, from both sets of parents.
My issue is that I dont know where my bio father is. I only know his name thanks to my birthcertificate. I have no idea where he was born, what year it was or where he is now. My mother doesnt remember either. Can i leave this information as 'Not Available' in the petition? My mother remarried when i was 15 and my stepdad is my dad really, just never officially adopted me. What is the best option here?

Sorry! I thought I was in DCF section. Shouldn't really be doing this on my phone ☺️

I thought DCF had to be filed in person?
That isn't available at all locations. Frankfurt only seems to accept mailed in petitions.

We're prepping our I-130 and have to include payment for filling, via DCF Frankfurt. We don't have the option to get a US money order as we are both not in the States, is there another way?
Sending a check isn't possible and I read that Credit Cards aren't accepted anymore for this location, but I'm not sure.
I tried calling them, but everything is automated and refers to the website. I can't seem to find the answers on the site though, so Im hopeful someone has had experience with Frankfurt office.

Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as we got ourselves in a bit of a pickle, apparently.
My husband came to the Netherlands in November 2012.
We got married in Feb. 2013 and are still based here. We are now planning to get our butts in gear to move to the States next year.
In the time that my husband has been here and he has not had a job. No income at all as I have been the breadwinner.
We both have filled for taxes here in The Netherlands, but I was not aware that US citizens need to keep filing their taxes in the USA also, even if they don't have any income.
My husband is a little clueless on this type of stuff, and I don't know where to look to get more information on filling taxes for previous years.
So I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction and/or give advice on what to do to resolve this issue.
Any help would be very appreciated :)

USC and Dutch spouse, both in The Netherlands, submitted our package via mail on the 15th.
For some reason the tracking doesnt show anything, so we are waiting on the NOA to tell us it arrived.. waiting for any news is just terrible. I wont mind it as much if I just know they received it. Patience..
