You can bring those and show them if asked. Only way to know is to try.

It's unlikely to be approved, but I've absolutely seen others with even fewer ties approved from countries with high refusal rates.

How about having a retired military father in law and an enlisting military husband, aren't they proofs of me that I won't be against the law?

Complete a DS-160 and attend the interview. $160 fee.

It's pretty difficult to get a tourist visa from PH, especially with a USC spouse.

Bring ties to return home with you. They likely won't look at it, but it's better than not having it.

There is no sponsorship for a tourist visa. Somebody can pay for the trip, though. There is a field asking about this on the DS-160.

You will be approved or not based on your own merits, not that of anybody else.

You have 3 negative factors right off the bat:

    • Married to a USC (ties to the US, not to return home).
    • Presumably not able to afford trip on your own (w/o incurring a hardship) since you have somebody else covering costs.
    • Line of work is likely not a significant tie to return home.

I do with you good luck, though. Only way to know find out if you get one or not is to apply.

I have a job here and future projects that's waiting for me when I return from the US. I could show them my proof of employment, pay stubs and future projects documentations. Will that be enough?

  3. My american husband's father wants me to visit in America before my husband enlist in the military, so that I could get to know them well. I haven't seen my husband's family in person, this would be a great time to visit them knowing military life is busy and hectic. His father is a retired army and will sponsor my trip. I'm an artist who works at an art gallery here in the Philippines. I don't have any intentions to settle in the US yet, because I have a lot of responsibilities here in the Philippines hence my art career and my family is here. How possible is it for me to get a tourist visa and my chances for it?
