Just got an uldate to my case: New card is being produced today.

i apply sept 17 2018 in California, they send me the biometric in March, then case got transferred to Potomac on sept 23rd saying they reviewed my file and needed additional investigation blah blah or something along the lines and then today, new card produced, Finally, just made my day :)

don’t forget the most important form, your extension letter to be able to come back. When you leave, you have yo answer to swedish immigration laws, which shoukd be easy for you since you are a citizen ( they don’t need you to have a return ticket aince you are going home dor indeterminate amount of time) 

on the way back, just have the extension letter as well as you old and new passport ( just in case and if you end up getting a new passport in Sweden) and bear in mind that with your green card, you can be out of the country for no more than 6 months or 1 year to keep your status ( i think they have exceptions that you may qualify for if you need to stay longer than 6months and dt want to buy a ticket)
