Haven't you ever heard the term .. ."There are no stupid questions?"
Yes I have, and I have heard say there are just stupid people who ask questions......
-
People will always ask the same question, you know what ? because they don't want to risk of making a mistake in the visa process. I know they have read here and there for guides, but I understand the side of a soothing feeling to have an answer from someone who have had the experiences here. I'm sure everyone is educated here in school, but in this agonizing process sometimes your brain goes kaput and it's filled by questions, so why not ask for help. Many people here are nice and they still give replies though they might read same questions being asked over and over for months now. That's one thing you need to deal around here whether you like it or not. And if you can't help then don't reply.
and some people when they cannot add any meaning to a message they must end it with a mean arrogant rude saying against a person
-
No. It's because we have new members! :energetic:
Yes maybe but I remember it say if you a new member it good if you look for answer before you ask... maybe i wrong but i want to be understand of this so i read everything rather than be nurse from a bottle. If i dont do this then i will never educate myself but this is how i was teached in school. just me i think
-
Maybe I don't understand this all but it seem the question like this get asked 10 times day
-
A waste of time, IMHO... but knock yourself out.
If I am a November or December filer, I already know where I stand If I am a January, February or March filer, the list tells me nothing that I don't already know with 10 seconds of effort at this website. If I am a January, Februrary or March filer, I want to know this:
Tells me a HECK OF A LOT MORE (with less work and la la) about what I really care about: case and approval movement
P.S.
If you're staring at those numbers, wondering what they all mean, it says that CSC has been working hard moving cases every week. And it says that if you're a CSC February filer asking about touches and NOA2s already, you need to get a life.
I think if you come here you could make simple suggestion to this man and he might do it. You come here and be mean and that is not nice. If you not want to be good part of this site, go away and shut up.

It varies by country, yet you should expect to wait 7-10 days for NVC to acknowledge the submission.
If you look at the people signature it says the people already got letter from this NVC....

I want to come to America real bad... maybe the first guy will want to be my fiance instead......

Hey guys,
I wonder if I can send in DS-156, DS-156K and DS-230 all together with the document checklist and DS2001-HNK?
Anyone send in at the same time?
I don't know all very much about all this process but I think it best to follow the instructions they give you for best sucess

It could be you! Out of curiosity, how did you ever get a DHL tracking number to locate your petition?
It is very easy if you use a search here on this place as some nice people have explain how to do it... the only problem is you can only see packages go to your country, you not know if it your file.
-
I look at DHL website and I see a package go to my country.... could this be me?

BTW it only took 10 days for my darling fiance to get the police certificate...!
I hope it does not expire by the time we get our approval....
No shitake
Mr Tracy,
Why you wait so long for visa? Some peoples on this site tell me I need only 15 days and my man to give my I-134 for fiancee visa in Indonesia. can you move to Indonesia? Also, my english not so good. I look up shitake in my dictionary and it say type of mushroom. Why you say no mushroom?

people shouldn't make fun of people and then run and hide.... that is mean...
-
I am not special but you sound mean

Because I hate rambling posts I will try to state mine as clearly as possible.
For my initial K1 application, I used a frequent flyer printout to prove meeting my fiance, along with pictures.
Since filing the application and receiving the NOA2, I traveled to see my fiance again and planned on bringing another FF mile printout to him for his interview, along with the new pictures taken on the second trip.
My problem
Anyway, it seems that after flying on an alleged partner airline,of my main FF account, the "main airline" has refused to honor the flight, because they said it was bought at the lowest rate ... hence ,no printout!
My thought process
So what do I do now????? I do have the itinerary, but after reading the guides on here, it seems like maybe that in itself is not enough. Now I do have the new set of pictures to go with the itinerary, but I don't have any boarding passes, because I swiped my FF card on all legs of the flight and assumed that it would be credited! I didn't use my ATM card there because he paid for everything.
Can anyone suggest what would be something good to do?
I promise I really, really, really did read the guides.
I am not US citizen or go to good school in USA as I live in West Africa but I even know your stamps in passport is best

If there are no marriage intentions at this time, you can try to visit him on a tourist visa, and he can help you to get that by sending you a I-134 Affidavit of support
Thirdly, from what little you have said, you need to file for a FIANCE VISA K1. This is for people who want to get married. It takes anywhere from 2 months (15 days in Indonesia--I think I want to move)
there is some advice from that thread that people posted. I do not think it is correct at all.
I would file a I-129f through your closest service center. If I was going to do any moving it would be your bf to Vermont they can process the I-129f the quickest in the usa.
appy for you Mr. August. I see you have fiancee visa. I called US Embassy and they tell me I cannot apply. How did you do this?
Mr August
I do not understand, I see this information some days ago in my first question. I tried to do as I was told but I cannot move to Indonesia for fiancee visa in 15 days.
-
Did you check the case status by clicking on your case number at uscis? it may have changed, mine did. I know a couple of others are in your situation two touches just like me, but I received emails and they did not.Seems we have plenty of NOA2's today. Hope tomorrow brings in even more! Congrats to all who got one today. Pulling for those who didn't!
Congrats and Thanks a lot we are one of those waiting list. Got 2 touches feb 20 and 21.
I want to know what touch is but I am afraid to ask... I am sure this has been asked before

Go to EDIT then PREFERENCES then FORMS (on left side in the Categories section) then UNTICK "SHOW TEXT FIELD OVERFLOW INDICATOR and that'll fix ya up.
That's ok if the actual data you are inputting fits in the box. Some of the boxes were too short for me so that would not work in my case. I had no choice but to edit the field sizes.
Mr gone,
Where you go? You say you not post here much anymore (I read this in another message, he he he), Why? This seems like such a nice place
-
does the American have to leave his toothbrush at the border to become British?
Mr Mileage,
I do not understand your post

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
I am happy for you Mr. August. I see you have fiancee visa. I called US Embassy and they tell me I cannot apply. How did you do this?
-
I know that nobody is mean but they all want to help me. This FIANCE VISA K-1 is what I have read about. I think this is what visa I need. I will ask my b/f for this I-134 document and then telephone US Embassy and ask how I file for this visa. Thank you all for your help.. Only 15 days if in Indonesia I think I wish to move there to.
-
so all I need to come to america is this I-134 document form my b/f ? thank you for this news. I will telephone him right away and ask him to send me this document. this is first I read about this. I think it was more difficult but I am so happy .
-
sorry, he he he
Cotonou is government seat of Republic of Benin. My country had another name until 30 years ago. You may know it as Dahomey. My country is surrounded by Nigeria, Togo and some part of Niger to north. Thank you for interest.
-
Thank you all for messages. I will try better to help you know more about me. I really think that is good picture of China. Did you take picture yourself? I also really like those flags everyone has. They are cool. I want to get one someday but I not sure they have one for my country. It is little country in coast of middle west africa.
My b/f lives in USA in state of North Dakota. I think that is near Canada. He is in air force military. I want to marry him so badly and cannot stand to be apart.

I have been lurking here for about 8 months now and I read everything I can. I am still trying to figure out what visa to file for. Can anyone help?
Also, I just wonder what is NOA that everybody's talking about....
please explain!
thanks guys!
NOA= Notice Of Action
Thank you...
I read and read everyday and I see that this question is asked all the time but I just did not undertand it... The other question want to ask is what is "touch" but I wont because I think I read today that it was only asked about 6 or 7 times.
