They were, they went through all that at customs. 

I am a US citizen.  My kids were adopted when I lived in another country.  I understand I have to file the I-130, but if they are currently here visiting can I file the I-485?  They are just here, no paperwork, no visitor visa or stamps - they just came through the border with no issues.  Can I still apply with both forms or no?

Ok cool - I’m going as a IR-1 so that would be the same process I assume?

Just have a question.  When I applied for my visa the intention was to move to MI (which is the address I used on all the forms).  Now we haven’t moved yet but it looks like we’re moving going to love to another state.  My question is will this affect me entering the POE by land?  If I tell them I’m actually moving to another state then what the forms say will there be an issue?
