For the beneficiary though, if there are other addresses for the past five years, would we leave the first one blank with the date to present, fill it in with the same address as the mailing or just start listing the past addresses? The online form automatically fills in the last line as “present”

In the I-129F form, for both the petitioner and beneficiary, of the physical address is the same as the mailing address, do I leave the first physical address slot blank and just put the date to present or fill it with the same address and the dates to present? The instructions are not very clear. Thanks so much!

My fiancé and I will be sending out our I-129 application by January 2019. I am wondering what the rules are regarding travel to the states while awaiting the response of said application. If I want to go visit him for a weekend or go to a music festival in a different city, would I be allowed to? I live in Canada.
