  2. Hi everyone.

Well, I haven't received the Bio appointment letter yet.

We called the USCIS, and they transferred us to like 3 dif. people, finally someone helped us,

they sent us the appointment a while back, and it probably got lost in the mail, believe me I wait every

single day for the mailman to come. Long story short, we were notified yesterday that our appointment is for

10/6, and they were kind enough to fax us the notice letter. So we are set for this tuesday.

Congrats to all the lucky approvals.

  3. We are so happy.....I think this means the FBI namecheck is clear.....

    YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy...

    Best of luck to everyone!!!!!

  4. Hi everyone...

The interview went super great, actually we didn't feel it was an interview, the only thing

is that we are still pending the FBI name check. The officer told us that we were approved pending that

clearance. She also made us sign a paper were it says that when my husband receives his conditional permanent resident

card, he would have to change his status 90 days before the 2 year expiration of it. She also mentioned that she interviews

14 people per day, and that at least half of them have pending FBI namechecks, that there is not only a backlog at the USCIS,

    but also at the FBI.

Here is what happened, I hope this can help you guys

She asked him the the same questions that are in the 1-485 application, where they ask you about

    -comitting a crime

    -receiving public assistance

-engaged in any unlawful commecialized vice

-illicitly trafficked in any controlled substance

    -engaged in cospiracy-

    -espionage

    -practicing polygamy

these questions she was reading them from a sheet an checking them off, she then asked for all the original documents

that we had submitted with our application, just to compare them.

-husband birth certificate, and translation to english

    -my birth certificate

    -our marriage certificate

She saw our pictures also, she took more time looking at the ones we had submitted with our fiance petition, than the ones we

had taken with us this time, wedding, trips, etc.

She them gave them back to us, and said, you guys are approved , "BUT", you have to wait for the FBI namecheck clearance.

She asked us if we had any questions, and we offered to show her, our bills, credit card statements, bank statements, health insurrance,

or anything else that she could want to see, she then said, no thanks, I've seen what I need to see, just wait for the FBI clearance, and as

soon as I get it, I will approve the AOS appllication.

And that was it, so now we just have to wait, the good thing is that we have the EAD and AP approved already, just waiting to get them in

    the mail.

    Good luck to everyone,

  6. My fiance entered the US thru the San Diego POE, the sealed package that he received from CD. juarez, was retured to him by the US customs, after they opened it and reviewed it, they stamped it and gave it back to him.. Everything was in it, since my initial paperwork...

Is this correct, weren;t they supposed to keep them.. What are we suposed to do with them, send them in with te AOS paperwork...

  7. My fiance, is entering thru the border in San Diego-Tijuana,

Has anyone done this before, does he have to cross walking, or can we cross in car?

Also, I will be driving with the budjet truck thru the border with his stuff, furniture, clothes, etc, etc, can he be on the

truck with me, and then when we are sent to secondary inspection, give his package to the custom agents?

  8. My fiance is at this moment in CDJ, he is getting his medical done, and tomorrow is going to have an interview,

I sent a letter stating why i was not in the interview with him, and also stated that i was 100% supportive, and hoped we were granted with the visa, it was dated March, 2007.. also it was signed

My concern is,, was i supposed to send him a signed letter of intent ( the one they give us in the package) I thought it was only him the one signing it?????

  9. I called NVC they cleared my case, and when they ask me for my fiances birthday, they say it is not the

same as they have in the computer, they ask for my info, and tell me that my case has been cleared and forwarded

to CDJ, When I filled out the forms I double checked everything was right, I sent birth certificates, and how is it possible

for them to have my fiance birthday wrong???? the case is now at CDJ, what is going to happen??? are they going to deny the visa, because of this, is it going to delay the process?? is it going to be longer for us to be together????

  10. Hi,

I have filed a fiance petition, and It has been approved, NVC received my file on the 9th of Feb, and I am waiting on a response from them.

My fiance, a Mexican citizen, tried to EWI I think it was in 1999 or so, he was caught in the Mexicali desert, he told me that they caught like 15 of them, they took their names, fingerprints all on the customs SUV, and then they took them to the border and sent them back to Mexico,

Is he considered as being deported??? Do you think he has a ban?

    Thanks,,,,,
