I think the thought was the courier taking it, or it getting lost/stolen in their home country.

A copy is not required. But it is wise to have in case any papers got lost along the way.

Yes, my friend's fiance was robbed, and then his ID was stolen.

In any case, doesn't embassy get everything from USCIS?

I do want to give her a copy but if someone steals this info from er somewhere, I was thinking about removing SSN.

    Yes

    Yes

    Yes if you have it

How long ago did you file the previous?

Within a year. I've read the instructions, and it seem to matter only if NOA2 was issued (then would be 2 years). Since withdrawn almost immediately, it didn't seem relevant.

I really appreciated all your answers, and good luck to all!

  3. Hello,

If I've previously filed a 129F, but have withdrawn it almost immediately (a month after the notice that they received it), do I answer as "Yes/ have filed before"?

Then, there's a question "What action did USCIS take on that form (approved, denied, revoked)". Do you I just answer "Withdrawn myself before the review"?

Also, do I include the copy of the USCIS case termination letter based on my withdrawal request?

    Thanks a lot!
