Received updated EAD based off AOS.  What do I have to do in regards to my old EAD based off the OPT.  Do I need to notify the school or have them update the SEVIS portal?

All week I've been calling USCIS, the system was not working, but today I tried again, finally I was able to talk to someone, he told me that this is not normal, cause it's have been more  than 30 days since i received the Noa, he send a notification to the office that  I sent my case  , (Chicago). Now I don't know how long I have to wait without biometric letter . Im the only waiting ?

Calling did not help. It’s one in California. 

Received NOA's dated the last week of August and still haven't gotten a bio metric notice.  Based off other forums and trackitt seems like dates the week before and after have been functioning as normal and have received biometric notices.  Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Today I called USCIS and they mentioned they indeed have not sent me a letter for my biometrics appointment.

 

Their waiting time was about 30 minutes and it felt like 3 times that with due to the most annoying  background music of the year. That’s a very ingenious way to make sure I think 10 times before calling them again. 😂

Did they mention why or when to expect it?  Based off several forums and trackit it looks like the entire week before Labor Day is delayed. If you filed the week before or after most people have gotten their biometric. The paranoid part of me is afraid they lost all the files that week or something.
