Hi all,
I'm in the same boat, unfortunately. I sent my I-751 on Feb 5, 2007, NOA date is Feb 7, 2007, biometric done on March 16, 2007 and have not heard anything from TSC since.
I sent my N-400 on Nov 17 though, another wait for me apparently since TSC has not processed N400 faster than I-751 as I am informed
It seems that TSC indeed doing something. This is what I got from getting my case status online this morning :
Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On December 10, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
Received the card today

What is your timeline? What were your filing dates?
Thanks

Finally got both I-797 (NOA with extension) and biometric appointment (scheduled for Mar 16 in Houston). Both letters were received on March 1 in my mail box.

My husband and I filed our first 2 return taxes as "married filing separately", since it was beneficial for us. This year, we will file "married filing jointly" since I had my full time employment last year and that moves up to higher tax bracket (ouch !). Therefore by filing jointly, we can take advantage for few deductions that are only available for this filing status.
We have not included our tax return as supporting documents when filing for I-751, but we have other documents that hopefully will be enough for the adjudication. Otherwise, if they ask for more proofs, we will just give them this year return tax, benefits statements from our employers that show each other as beneficiary, etc.
The worst case, they will require us for interview. It won't be that bad.

Is that a receipt with a year extension on it ?
I sent mine (I-751) on Feb 5, received by TSC on Feb 7. Check cashed also on Feb 7.
I received a receipt for biometric fee $ 70.00 on Feb 12, but have not received any extension letter yet. Hopefully next week.
