I'm in Brazil now and it'd be expensive to call USCIS from here. On USCIS website says that "request for evidence" since dec 2008 so I haven't heard from them since then. So how would my ex withdraw the financial support? Calling USCIS or what?
Thank you

Are you talking about my greencard process or my current fiancee visa application?
I'm the benefiary in both.
-
you mean I should call USCIS or ask my ex and tell them to stop my process?
-
On USCIS website says "request for evidence" but it has been like this since dec 2008.
I'm applying for a fiancee visa with a boyfriend I met before I left the country.I already have an interview date and everything. Will I have problems to get it?
I'm panicking right now.

Please let us know what happen on tuesday. I'm from Brazil and I'm interested to know.

I arrived in 10th aug 2008 so my I94 expired in nov 2008 right? But I got married before that...in oct 2008. I left the country in june 04th 2009 after filled my divorce. I thought I'd be fine because I was in process to get my greencard. But my process has never been approved or denied.
Yes...I moved but I've told them.
-
but I was in process. That's why I stayed for 9 months. I was waiting for an answer.

I never found out what happened to my GC. I left my I94 with USCIS when I had my interview so I don't know what it says on it.

I went to US in 2008 and got married to my petioner. We filled for my AOS, got my work authorization and had my AOS interview. After that, marriage didn't work out and we filled for divorce. I never got my greencard( didn't get any RFE, just took longer than everybody else). Anyway I left the country for family reasons while in AOS.
My question is...is this consider overstay? (stayed in US for 9 months and a half)
Will I have any problem to go back to the US?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there
I'll be living 1 hour north of San Francisco. We can stay in touch and someday in a near future meet there.
I'm in process to get a fiancee visa. My interview in Brazil will be be in a month or so.
I already lived there in 2008/2009 and sometimes is hard to make new friends so it'd be great if we become friends.

Hi
Have you had your check cashed yet? That's the first thing they do. After that you get your NOA1 in few days. My fiance got ours 4 days after the check was cashed.
-
My NOA2 has been approved 2 weeks ago. My fiance called NVC today and they said there is nothing wrong and they are just entering the data into the system. Is it normal to take 2 weeks for the NVC processing phase?
Thanks in advance.
-
Should I contact NVC after NOA2 approval?
How long does NVC take to reply an email? Since I'm outside US would be the best way.
Thanks.

We exchanged love cards and we'll have a special dinner in 2 weeks and a half when he's coming to visit me.
-
I don't want to think about

My NOA2 has been approved at the same day as yours. Now I'm just waiting to get the package 3-4 in the mail from the embassy. But you can keep trying to contact NVC by phone.
-
yes and they'll ask you for when you get the package 3-4 in the mail but you can do it before that, as soon as your NOA2 is approved.
-
I don't understand either because I'm already divorced. But I saw on checklist for the interview and it says I'd need it.
-
Ciao
It depends but the average waiting time is about 5 months for the whole process (some are faster than others).
After you get your NOA2 things go faster.
You got your NOA1 in december so you'll probably get your NOA2 in march.
You just need to be patient. And if you have everything they ask for, your interview will go smooth.
Good luck.

Is it a copy of a previous marriage certificate enough to take to my K1 interview or I need the original one ?

Hi there
Why some NOA2 are approved very fast (45 days) and others take almost 4 months?
Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks in advance.
