I got email from embassy after 50 days, don't schedule interview until you get an email (Packet 3). They will send you back. 

My NOA2 was approved on 23th July 2018 and got packet 3 on 17th October. 

It is strongly recommended to wait for Embassy email. 

Dont do anything in advance until the case is ready in embassy and the embassy send an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc. 

I was sent back from embassy last month because they had not sent me an email called Packet 3. I had to reschedule the interview. 

@hq990 hi, hope you are doing okay. My Interview was on 15th November in USEM Abu Dhabi, and I faced the same issue of sponser. The counselor handed over my passport and 221g and told me to submit a sponser. Now my fiancee brother became my sponser. 

I will submit the documents in next few days. I wanted to know in how many days you got response from embassy? How much time your Visa approval tool. I will be thankful for your reply. 

I appeared without Packet 3, and they sent me back. When I came home I got Packet 3 and the next day I requested a new date. my first date was 17th October and they assigned me 15th November.

@Anne004 Hi, So I was sent back yesterday from Abu Dhabi embassy without Packet 3. And when i reached home, I got packet 3 in the evening. 

Now i dont know how to reschedule the interview. 

Should I wait until 17 to reschedule the interview? or i should reschedule it now? 7 days left.

It took us 1 month and 1 day to received the email confirmation from USEM. And for the appointment of interview it depends on the available dates given by their system.

Hi, My interview is scheduled on 17th of October but i have not received Packet 3 from USEM abu Dhabi. will they allow me to be interviewed? my Case is showing ready since 30-august 2018. thats why

i scheduled the interview and did necessary preparation. please answer i will be thnakful

After receiving case number from NVC, I completed my DS-160, Medical exam, I-134, paid the fee, Scheduled the Interview on 17th October.

As few days left, I heard about Packet 3 (which is a set of Instruction from Embassy to follow). My attorney already gave that set of instructions to follow after getting the case number. The only missing document is that embassy declare 

that they have received your case from NVC. (My case on CEAC shows "Ready" from In transit since 30-August). I am super concerned that the embassy will send me back without attending the interview. If you guys have any info kindly guide me. I will be thankful.

Still waiting, havent heard anything back. which phone number do you use to call them. when i call it goes to some extensions which are not my concern. I wish to speak to the operator. my interview is scheduled on 17th October. Only 8 days left.
