Be careful everybody, the 90 days thing looks like a trap! Same happened to me here, applied in Boston Sep 2017 (a few weeks early, using the 90 days window), only for them to deny it this week Sep 2018 (a year later), for early filing!! (...), it's like an officer pulls you over, then tickets you for pulling over! And, by the way, they do have the descretion to grant you the citizenship and not deny it for using the 90 days but they don't!! Sounds like a deliberate punch in the gut. The officer also suggested on the phone that I go back home visit family and file again (knowing I have aslum against birth home which means I won't be admissible when I want to come back to the the U.S. I'm terrified of these (uscis) people..
