hello to all i finished my enterview last april 17 the consul dont say that im approve but she said they will review my case and wait for them to contact me.im worried bout what happen next until now no mail from them i ask the employee inside the embassy and she said its ok no problem bout my case i paid for the delivery of visa already.is there anyone here same happen to my case.....tnx god bless

I just want to confirm that K1 visa appointments are not on a first come first serve basis or shall I say, as long as i already got the appointment letter from the embassy, I am already assured of the interview slot.

Actually, I already got the appointment letter from the embassy and my scheduled medical and interview are on may 15 & 22, respectively. However, I have not paid the visa fee of $100 yet since my passport is in the process of renewal. DS-156 requires the passport details. I will only get to pay the visa fee this Friday.

I hope I am not in trouble. Is everything fine?

Its good to know that we have same medical and interview dates.

Passport renewal can be released over night but u have to pay extra fee but if u have to wait for its regular releasing time it will take 3 days or a week. I havent pay yet the visa fee, my plan is to pay it a week before our interview. You are not in trouble, as long as u paid the visa fee before interview and done with your medical too, no prob! Hope to meet u at USE...

hi vjer's..... i am lyn....im having worried with my appointment letter right now....I will have my medical on may 30th and my interview is on june 6....My problem is until now i didnt recieve yet my appoitnment letter which is im planning to have my medical as early as possible...Please any advice regarding this matter.......More Power!!!

HI Lyn don't worry you will have it soon. If u still dont get your packet in case din just print your schedule online or call for a request that U can pick up your packet in saint lukes. U still have a lot of time my dear..

It would be good advcie to go for early medical to avoid problems...

Im sure I understand how it feels.there are days that worst than others.this waiting game all we need to do is to be patient because its really killing us sometimes.I am glad our visa jouney will end very soon and plan to fly by June.

Pardon my being impatient (that's my middle name). I know that once this journey is over, being with my sweetheart is worth all the effort, hardship and hard work.

I called the embassy number this evening that is in Sheriff Ullings signature and got ahold of a very friendly and helpful lady who told me that my petition was received there on Feb. 28. It is odd that my letter from the NVC is dated March 1st and says that my petition would be sent to Manila in the next week or so, but that doesn't matter as long as it's there. I was told that no interview date was set yet, but it could be as early as May. She told me the average wait was 100 to 120 days. I am so jazzed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, Im Betty and im new here. My story goes like this. I met my ex-fiance "Perry" a year ago and we decided to be together.. he filed for the petition, and somewhere along the way, we got separated. And i never heard from him again... I was transferred to Davao (south of the Phils) becoz of work and never came back here in manila until March 2007. Now my landlady who's been handling all my mails handed me a bunch of em and told me that mostly are from the USemb in manila.

The thing is, when i opened everything esp the last letter there was already an interview date and medical schedule... OMG!!! I tried to reach Perry and when i did, (he was still in love with me) and i told him that i got all of the mails from the USEM. He said that if i want to continue we can and i can go home and will send me money for the tickets.... (sheesh!)

I mean HELLO! I dont want to be with him and as much as i want to go to the US i dont want to be it like that. So help me pls... what do i do next?

I just wonder why it took so long for u to get approved. But in any case congrats!

I think u get notice of approval (NOA2). u have to wait for your MNL case number which will be given by NVC.they will sent it to your fiancee. then NVC will forward it to Manila then wait till manila send u any info.

about medical as what I understand ONLY saint lukes is authorized for that.if u got medical last June I think they would give u another medical when USE manila gives u your interview date.Embassy will give u any info for any requirements they need from u...u get a info from USE manila when they get ur papers...

I hope this will help a bit...

How many touches do you typically get before getting NOA2. I got a touch yesterday but the status did not change.

Cant wait to see what happens today. Hope its not RFE.

Mine was touched feb 12 and 13 and we got the approve feb 12. Im sure noa2 will be next.. good luck!!

u can also read some timelines so u can get ideas.

Thats really nice to know. I was wondering why USCIS didnt email us when they approved our application. They send it in the mail and even until now when I check my case online it still pending hahahah!!!

they were so busy huh not time to update case online!!!
