I just got out of Dmv here in Virginia.  They didn’t renew my license and said they will call and needs to verify my docs (NOA) .

I have friends here in the area with the same status but they don’t have a problem in dl renewal. 

I got my NOA today 😁

here is my timeline

09/05 ROC Packet mailed to VSC

09/07 Packet Delivered

9/29 Received returned photo album

10/03 Whole packet returned (outdated form)

10/04 Resubmit ROC to Phoenix, Az

10/05 ROC delivered

10/12 Check Cashed. E-notification case was received

10/20 Noa date

10/22 Mailed I-797 ( as per Contact Support)

10/25 NOA received from Nebraska

My gc and dl expired yesterday. Tom I am going to dmv to renew. 

I hope everyone will get their NOA soon.

Awww! Where did you file yours?Cause based on my case I originally filed sept 4, which was returned. And as per uscis news they are starting to send out those who sent their application for a certain time up to Sept 9. So I’m thinking positive now that i will get mine within the week. Cause the original file date of mine was before sept 9.

I called earlier too but the rep told me if I didn’t received it within a week call back again so they can request to reissue the NOA

So I just called the Uscis Customer Support 800-375-5283 to help me get an infopass schedule because gc and dl will expire 10/24. She put me on hold and then said that the receipt notice was just mailed to me today 10/22 and just wait for it within a week. With my case I think USCIS is getting up to speed again. *crossed fingers!

I’m looking forward to receive my notice within this week! 

My DL is my problem too the expiration is same as my Gc which is oct 24. I am off tom at work and I am

thinking twice if I should try and renew my license without the NOA. I track my status and it said that they received my application and I don’t need to do anything. I got e notification too that my case was received and Noa is to follow in the mail. I just dont want to spend the whole day at dmv for nothing. Im in Virginia anyone here a Va resident?

The form that I filled out expired on December 2017. Just FYI for all -  I-751 has an expiration date on top right corner, it says EXPIRES MM/DD/YY. Painful lesson, but the good thing is it doesn't seem like it's a complete rejection. There are receipt number (EACXXXXXXXXXX) and original application acceptance date and time on all of the evidences that I originally sent out. We have the same situation! I just sent mine yesterday just replaced it with the new version of the form and all the supporting evidence when i first submit.. I did an express mail and they received it already before noon. My gc is gonna expire in the 24th so I hope I’ll have my extension sooner and everything goes out smooothly

Hello Jeff,

Did you send the exact packet just replaced the forms?

I got the same situation, all of the evidence in my packet have a stamp at the bottom with date and time and other numbers. Is it okay to resend as it is with the new version of the form?

They returned it with the packet.

They returned and received my whole packet just today! I sent an outdated version of the form. Now I  already printed the new one. My question is can i resend all the evidence that goes with it when I originally sent it?! There is a stamp date at the bottom of each every page of my evidence. Any idea? It’s gonna take me awhile if i will have new copies of everything.

I sent I751packet on Sept 5 and delivered by Sept 7 to VSC. I dont’t have NOA or any other means to track my case  my check has not been cashed yet and I didn’t sent the form for e notification.

I received a letter from USCIS which is from Chicago that return the photos I put in a binder, saying they cannot accept that format it was dated Sept 25 and I received it 28. I think my case was transferred to Chicago. 

It is almost a month and I am so stressed out bec today I have fingerprinting process for the new job I got with me bringing an I-9. I don’t have anything to prove extension of GC though the job itself will start Nov 10 my gc expires Oct 24.

They returned only the photos..

2 photos each page with description inserted in a clear sleeves in a folder/binder.

I am thinking positively right now though a little worried. Bec photos are not mentioned as primary evidence for i751 as website stated.

I am just gonna wait for my NOA  

Hello everyone,

So i sent my I751 last Sept 7. My checked is still not cashed yet but they returned the photos I compiled in the packet with this letter saying.

” We are returning an item/s you sent in support of your application/petition, as it is a format we cannot place in your file folder for review by an officer during the adjucation process.”

should I be worried about this.? Those are just photos I glued on a letter sized bond paper and put in folder/binder with clear sleeves. 

I am so nervous right now!

Okay i guess I’ll wait for a month too! Everyday I check my debit to see if they have encashed the check! I was just accepted for a new job to start on Nov. That’s why I’m so nervous.. So i hope I get the Noa anytime soon! And you guys too!!

I sent it to Phoenix, since I live in California.

 

But on this forum, I am seeing people discussing sending the application to one of the 5 USCIS service center - CA, Vermont, Nebraska etc.  I didn't see these in the I-751 filing instructions.

 

Can somebody explain to me, if I made a mistake in filing my application to the wrong address?

 

Based on what I have read here the phoenix and arizona is for those who sent their packet from sept 11 onwards. I guess to help with backlog

I am also a September 2018 filer for my Roc. Sent my packet to Vermont Sept 4 and it was delivered by September 7. I am not aware of in the change of service center until I came across this discussion. I am so glad I was able to send the right time before the change! But as of today check is still not encashed and no Noa 1! I am having major anxiety! Any vermont filers?
