Our NOA2 was approved last October 10,2018 and up until now we received no email/mail from NVC. Do you have any idea how long is the NVC period? I am a bit worried.

So I checked our case status online at uscis page and it says “MY CASE WAS APPROVED” this october 10,2018. But the problem is up until now  we received no email/mail/text yet. Is that a problem? Thank you and have a great day!

Other than preparing all your documents you need in advance and being prepared.  We received our noa 1 in march and noa 2 this week. The AOS stage, get your fiancé to put the info together and start preparing. Also, ask him to check the medical policy at his work. I also suggest looking at travel insurance options too. To cover you just in case you need medical help or advice after coming off a long haul flight. Hopefully good for you to know... Your child will be eligible for a US passport if you stay, you just need to research into the process with your local embassy. If you're concerned about your partner missing the birth, he should check his paternity eligibility. You can also look at delivery options too, such as a planned c section if you haven't already. Your pregnancy is still Early. Remember a happy and stress free mama, is a happy bubba! Huge congrats on your little blessing, it's a beautiful gift and while it may be challenging, you will both be fine. X

I believe you are in the regular time frame. Right now according to the app tracker, they are working on late February applications. We're also early April filers, so we're expecting at least a month from now before they start adjudicating applications for April. Keep in mind that with having your application delivered from USCIS to NVC then from NVC to the embassy, obtaining your non criminal background checks, medical, and scheduling your interview appointment, this would all add another 1-2 months to the wait time (I don't know how the wait is for the embassy in Philippines, but it's just a rough estimate).

 

So all in all, you're almost there but you still have some waiting to do. Do not stress yourself out with the time or the process in general. Everything will eventually work out. As you are pregnant, mental and emotional health should be a top priority at the moment. So just hang in there, and it'll all be done soon

Hello everyone! Just wanna know if there’s a way on speeding up the case? We filed our k1 visa and received our noa1 last april 11,2018. Up until now there’s still no response for noa2. My fiancé had recently visited me here in the Philippines from May 1- August 21,2018. And blessedly, we are having a baby. I am now 11 weeks pregnant. Our concern is, I need to go to USA before I reach 36 weeks Aog. I want to give birth in US with my fiancé. So do you have idea if there’s a way that we can speed it up?
