Hi guys.

Just a quick question.  My fiancé (USA) just received the I-797 Notice of Action letter informing us that the petition is with the NVC.  Since filing the visa I have changed address, how and who do I need to inform of this??  Does the embassy where I will attend my interview inform both my fiancé and I or will they just send me a letter?

she hasn't received anything.  She sent it by registered mail and has just double checked the package got there and it has but no NOA1 from USCIS.

She is going to call USCIS.  There was no notification at all.  Is this common?  She sent a bankers cheque, so not sure if there is a way to confirm if it has been cashed.  How long would it normally take for them to send the receipt?

Just looking for information on other ways to get me there.

I am an Irish guy living in Australia with an American Fiancé.

My fiancé sent the K-1 nomination form at the start of June 2018.  After looking through some of the topics and questions sent by other forum users, it has become apparent that she did not receive confirmation that the petition was received.  Is there a way to follow up to confirm the processing centre has received??  Is this normally sent upon receipt?  How is confirmation sent?

Also, is it possible to enter on a student visa and not affect the current application? Or would the k-1 Fiancé become null and void?  If I entered on a student visa, would I have to come back to Melbourne for my interview?
